Kuzgun POV
After the reunion was over, Dila's friends had invited them to go over to the rooftop bar across the road, the one that Kuzgun had found out earlier in the evening that Dila had DJ at on a few occasions.
After such a good night already, they willingly agreed to join them all and let the party continue. Kuzgun also couldn't help feel curious about the place his wife had been to while she was in her early 20s.
He was enjoying her friends company and could clearly see a different side to Dila that he wasn't used to. She was in another element surrounded by friends, it was definitely something he wanted to see more of.
Stepping out of the elevator into the lively bar, the group headed outside onto the terrace area. Kuzgun held on to Dila's hand as they walked towards an area of comfortable sofas and chairs next to large patio heaters. Even on a cold November night it felt warm and inviting.
Her friends all took a seat, occupying two sofas opposite each other while both Kuzgun and Dila were further back from them, admiring the London skyline.
Kuzgun shook his head in amazement as he let go of her hand to pull her in front of him, wrapping his arms around her stomach and placing his head down onto her shoulder.
"Vay be" he murmured looking out at the bright lights of a never sleeping city.
"Mmm," Dila murmured resting her head against his, he felt her relax into him, "you can practically see the whole of the city from up here. I forgot how amazing it is"
Kuzgun's eyes wandered over the landscape, still in awe. From where they were on the rooftop he could spot many famous London landmarks. His mouth twitched into a smirk, knowing Dila would have plans to visit all those places while they were here and he couldn't wait.
It was then a thought came into Kuzgun's mind and he placed a delicate kiss on her exposed shoulder.
"Sana bir şey soracağım" he murmred, his lips grazing her skin as he spoke.
"Hmm? Sor" she responded, her eyes still looking out onto the view.
He hesitated for a moment, before licking his lips, "Er..., earlier Nehir mentioned skydiving..."
Dila tensed slightly underneath him and turned round to face him. She looked up at him sincerely, "Kuzgun, it wasn't a big deal. Lots of people do it. You know I don't like talking about the things I did for charities -"
"- It's not that"
She frowned a little, "Bu ne o zaman?"
Kuzgun bit down on the inside of his cheek and exhaled, his hands starting to stroke her arms, his eyes gazing down into hers.
"When we went to Büyükada for my birthday," he started, "and you were giving me all those amazing gifts," from the look on her face, she knew where he was going, "you said you did a lot of stupid things to try and forget about me"
Dila licked her lips before speaking, "Evet" she simply responded.
He hated thinking about it, but as soon as he had heard that she skydived it evoked something inside of him.
"Dila'm, did you always do things like this to forget?" he questioned with sadness, "that had an element of danger to them?"
She let out a sigh and motioned for them to sit down on a sofa in front of a small fire, "Gel, sevgilim"
He followed her and they sat down, the warmth of the fire hitting them and illuminating her already golden hair.
"Kuzgun, neden?" she whispered and reached up, her delicate fingers tracing his beard, "why does it matter?"
