Confessions

(POV Bokuto)
I walked down the hallways until I got to our room. The door was closed so I didn't think Akaashi saw me. I was reaching for the door handle but stopped half way. I was shaking. I cant do this. I'm a coward. I thought. But then I heard a voice.

(POV Akaashi)
I was finishing up a chapter of my book when I saw Bokuto standing outside the door through the window of the door. He looked really pail and he seemed to be muttering to himself. Then I saw him blush intensely, which made me blush in return. He is so cute when he blushes I thought. Then I remembered the situation and realized he still wasn't coming in.
"Bokuto san," I started, "what are you doing hovering outside the door." Bokuto looked startled and opened the door immediately. He rushed in too fast and fell over. I stood up to offer him my hand.
"Be carefull, Bokuto san." I said in a monotone voice. Bokuto nodded.
"S-sorry I was j-just um thinking. Yeah! That's why I-I didn't come in right away!" Bokuto looked sick at this point.
"Bokuto san, are you okay? You look like your going to throw up. What happened?" Bokuto's eyes widened.
"What! Nothing! Nothing happened!" He laughed, "I-um I just ran here that's all haha!" He was lying. I could tell because he was avoiding my eyes. That was a sure sign.
"Bokuto san, please tell me the truth. You can trust me." I was very worried about him at this point.

Bokuto sighed and hesitantly sat down on his futon.
"Akaashi, it's nothing really.." he trailed off.
"Bokuto san, I know when your lying." I said plainly. Bokuto mumbled something under his breath and looked a little annoyed.
"Fine I-I'll tell you." I nodded and scooted next to him.
"Okay," he started, "meandkurooweretalkingandhesaidthatyouweregayandithinkiamtooandimconfusedbutiloveyouakaashi!" Bokuto mumbled. I chuckled.
"I didn't hear a word you said, Bokuto san." That wasn't a complete lie, I didn't hear everything. But I could've sworn he said "I love you Akaashi." I put my arm around him.
"Please tell me, Bokuto san." Bokuto looked at his feet.
"I know your gay, Akaashi." This made me flinch. I never told Bokuto that I was gay because I was afraid of what he would have thought. We never talked about sexuality so I didn't know if he was accepting.
"W-well Bokuto san," I started, "do you hate me?" I mumbled the last part. Bokuto immediately looked into my eyes.
"AKAASHI!" He yelled, "I WOULD NEVER HATE YOU FOR SUCH A DUMB REASON!" The sudden change in tone startled me but his words warmed my heart.
"Thanks for saying that, Bokuto san, it means a lot." I smiled.
"Akaashi.." Bokuto replied.
"Yes?"
"That-that isn't everything.." I looked in confusion but then came to a fearful question. Had Kuroo told Bokuto that I liked him? I never actually told Kuroo I did but I knew that Kuroo knew. I took a deep breath and looked at Bokuto.
"Okay what is it?" I asked, trying to keep my voice from breaking. Bokuto looked flustered. That wasn't a good sign.
"A-Akaashi Kuroo told me that you like me..." there it was. Our whole friendship was over. Or so I thought.
"Yes, Bokuto san, I do. And I know you-"
"Akaashi, I like you too." I was cut off. My eyes widened in shock. He likes me back? I thought. HE LIKES ME BACK! My heart started to race.

"Oh you do, Bokuto san?" He nodded.
"I think I have for a whole. I just think I didn't realize it." I couldn't resist myself. I pulled Bokuto into my chest. The warmth of his breath made me feel safe.
"Bokuto.." I mumbled.
"Hm" he replied.
"W-will you g-go out with me?" Bokuto released himself from my grasp and looked into my eyes.
"YES!" He exclaimed, "A MILLION TIMES YES!" I laughed and hugged Bokuto again

(POV Bokuto)

I was in Akaashi's chest when I heard him say something.
"Bokuto san, we should go to sleep." I nodded and pulled myself from his hug. I turned off the lights and got comfy in my futon. It was very cold that night and the heating was crappy in this part of the building. It wasn't a big deal for me because I don't get cold easily, Akaashi on the other hand, did. I could here his clattering teeth from across the room.
"Akaashi?" I asked.
"H-hm?" He said through his teeth.
"Do you want to sleep with me. I mean like- in my futon." There was a few moments of silence, and I thought that that was meant to be a silent decline, until I heard Akaashi get up. He walked over to my side of the room and I lifted the covers to let him slide in. I pulled him into a hug. God he is really cold I thought. Akaashi buried his face in the crook of my neck, which made me smile. Our hands interlocked and I drifted into sleep, not caring about anything or anyone but the raven haired setter next to me.

Author Chan: guess who wrote two chapters in a day! IT WAS ME MWAHAHAH. So yes I was feeling rly hyped so I wrote two chapters. Anyways that really it so bye x
