imagine being able to buy shoes

when we arrived at the avengers tower both of us got out of the car and i followed him into the building. each door we went through he swiped his all access card and when we made it to the elevator he inserted the card in the same spot i did last time. i didn't get as many weird looks as last time, probably because i was with him.

the elevator doors opened and we stepped into the avengers quarters. this time nobody was there.
"i guess they're all already in the training centre." he shrugged and walked towards the training centre. i followed after him like a lost puppy. i have no clue what i'm doing.

when we walked into the training centre black widow flew past us. she flipped back onto her feet and charged back at captain america who threw her when we first walked in. she grabbed onto his arm and flung herself onto his shoulders and wrapped her legs around his neck. they struggled for a bit until Natasha saw me.
"hey Y/N! wanna learn how to do this?" she asked as she hopped off Steve's shoulders and walked toward me. Steve took a sec to catch his breath from being choked and made his way toward us.
"i mean yeah. that was like totally awesome." i told her. it really was impressive.
"maybe we should work up to that" Steve chuckled.
"maybe." natasha smirked.
"okay so i'm gonna go work with banner in the lab, and natasha you can work with Y/N." tony said clapping his hands together.
"oh am i being banished?" steve asked.
"Furry wanted to talk to you i'm pretty sure"
"oh shit i totally forgot i had meeting with him."
"steven language!" tony gasped. Captain america walked away shaking his head and tony followed behind him teasing him about his bad mouth. i couldn't stop the slight smile that grew on my face.
Natasha chuckled " okay let's get to work. we got the punches down which wasn't to hard for you  since you already had some skill before hand. now today we're gonna work on your kicks. these are supper important, you don't know if your always going to have your hands so you have to make use of all your limbs."
"smart very smart." i smiled. i was excited learn new defence. what i've signed up for i'm gonna need it.

i went and got changed out of my jeans and sweater into the shield training uniform. it fit like a glove. i pull my hair into a high ponytail which was kinda hard. my hair is so thick and curly so i hopped the hair tie didn't break. i put on my shield shoes which were nice and new unlike my own shoes, they were dirty and the soles were falling out. imagine having enough money to buy shoes whenever you want mhm. i left the change room and met Nat in the centre of the gym.
"ready Y/N?"
"ready Natasha."
