Chapter~3•

Jeremiah's POV

It had been a few weeks since I blew the bridges and me and Alice had been hiding out. Ecco went out a couple times she was gone right now and would be back in a few hours.
Alice was reading a book and I was sitting down just thinking. I had a big soft spot for her I don't have that with anyone else even Ecco. I saw Alice peek up from her book and look at me I looked back at her and I could see her smile at me. I got up and walked over to her, "Hello sweets" I said to her "Hey Jer" I chuckled a bit she came up with a nickname for me "Found a nickname for me" I sat down beside her and put my arm behind her resting it on the couch. "Yes I did and you have soon for me" She bobbed my nose and then smiled.
She put her book down and faced me I smiled at her, she was just out perfect I had a hard time resisting her. I leaned in and grabbed her face I started kissing her and I was surprised when she didn't pull back but instead kissed me back. We sat there kissing for about 2 minutes but it felt like forever.

Once we pulled back I peeked her one last time and I started laughing my crazy laugh and she laughed too.

Alice's POV

After we finished kissing he peeked me on the lips and then started laughing his insane laugh that I'd heard a couple times and I loved it so very much it made me start laughing.
When I stopped he stopped a couple seconds later. He came back up to me and put out his hand. "Take it" I took his hand and he pulled me up. He went to the music and turned on a slow song. He grabbed my waist and I out my hands around his neck. We started swaying to the music "So darling when Ecco returns well be leaving and going somewhere.. Else" He paused "Oh really and where is that" I asked meeting his gaze "To a tunnel in the dark zone we are gonna find people so they can... Help us dig it" He smiled "What will it led to" I asked "Well to the main land but we're gonna go to Wayne Manor because I have been playing something" I giggled a bit "I wanna know more but you ain't tell me" He smiled at me "Your right I won't" With that he spun me around then leaned me over and held me then kissed me again, he brought me back up and I walked away to go change.

I changed and when I walked back out to where Jeremiah was he was wearing and magenta button up with a black vest paired with black dress pants with tiny silver/white thumb strips. He was wearing his black dress shoes and some purple gloves. He know wore a dark shade of purple lipstick to hide his red blood lips.
"All dressed up are we" I asked joking around with him he looked back at me.

Jeremiah's POV

I heard her walk out but I didn't look up at her "All dressed up are we" She said after a few moments of silence. I looked at her she was wearing a lacy bra but not see through and some black leather pants with knee high red boots over there shoulder was a red and grey jacket. She also had my hat on her head. "I might say the same for you" I told her she laughed a bit and came and sat by me "What was on your mind" She asked me, I guess she noticed that I was thinking before she came out here "Nothing" I said and continued thinking, I lied he's but I was just thinking about my plan we had to leave soon.

Once it was time to leave I went it Alice "Time to go love" I peeked in the out "Meet me at the car" I yelled already halfway out the door.

Alice's POV

He yelled "Meet me in the car" I got up and grabbed my black leg holster and my phone and started walking I heard a noise and took out my guys  turned. I saw Selina she was walking "Ha curls you can walk" I laughed losing my gun a bit "Ya I can and I'm here to kill you" I laughed insanely at her joke' "You gonna kill me" I pointed at myself I raised my gun and fired a shot at her she nearly missed it. "Stay still" I yelled I fired another then I ran out the door to the car, I hopped in "Go!" I yelled "Wha-" I cut Jeremiah off "Just fuckinv go Jeremiah" He listened and stepped in the gas.

Once we were 5 minutes into the drive when he asked "What happened in there" I met out a Huff of air "Selina can walk really well, she outs to kill me" I looked at him "Darling I won't let her touch you ok?" I smiled and said ok.

We got to where we needed to be Jeremiah got out and I got out soon after. He grabbed my hand for me to take which I did. We walked up to the door and he opened it. We walked in a room into another that was filled with workers, carts and wheelbarrows. Rocks and dirt in pills of each other. Jeremiah went and through on a white coat that was thick with black buckles and leather.
A man came up to him "Your pushing my mean way to hard" I saw Jeremiah sigh "We aren't gonna break through for another day or two" He went to say something else but before he could Jeremiah pulled out his razor blade and the man fell to the ground "Well bit with that attitude your not" He said to the lifeless man on the ground I was stopped in my tracks "Damn" I whispered to myself Jeremiah started turning around *God he was hot doing that, I loved when he turned like that* he had a smile on his face. I was lost in thought well thinking about Jeremiah. I saw him after lick the blood off the blade and then out the blade away.

I only broke out of thought when I heard Jeremiah call my name "Alice" I heard him yell I shook my head and started walking over to him. I had changed  into a  dress the was red and black my favorite colors if you couldn't tell already. Once I reached him he told me "Go get the new  recruits" I smiled and nodded my head.

I got the new recruits there weren't many but it'll have to do. Jeremiah was whispering something to himself I cleared my throat to make myself known he turned and when he saw me he straightened up a bit and then cleared his throat "Are these all the recruits" He asked slowly making his way to me "Unfortunately so" I looked over at them Jeremiah was in front of me facing forward. I felt his hand grab my throat he then moved to to hun out chest pressing together "Yes" He chuckled lightly "You certainly have set a very.. High.. Bar.. For devotion" He reached down and grabbed my other hand and we started dancing not caring about the workers.
"Bruce Wayne and his side kick curls were here" I paused "I heard from a recruit when we were walking, and curls can walk really well" He spun me around and he nodded waiting for new to continue "She wants to kill you.. A lot" I added.
He bent me down holding me up with a arm "If I see her I'll give you a shout" He rolled his eyes and was about to let me up "Oh and kill her Jer don't worry" He looked back down and smiled at me, he pressed his sift warm lips against mine and the parted.
"Oh and Ecco is dead Jer" I told him his face fell "What" I groaned sometimes I feel like he lived her more than me. "Love what do you mean" He asked "Ecco is D-E-A-D" Geez did I have to spell it out "Sh-shes dead" He seemed sad but honestly I never said anything but I really didn't like her "Yes Jay she is like I said" I put my face to my face "How" I simply walked away I know if I died he wouldn't give a flying fuck.

A few hours later he was sitting still looking sad I was walking over to him but I stopped when I saw Ecco? "Ecco I thought you died" I looked at her turned my body to her Jeremiah stood up looking to us. Then she stabbed me "What the" Then she pulled if the mask "Ha Selina" I said with a laugh "Ya me" She stabbed me again "I see you didn't die" I told her with a smile "I gotta sa-" I was cut off by her stabbing me again "Don't say.. Anything" She stabbed me again and again. Then I heard Bruce Wayne "Selina stop!" He yelled I couldn't see anything barley I fell to the ground.

Jeremiah hadn't done anything yet. As I was lying there I felt someone nell beside me "Darling" It was Jeremiah I smiled "Hey" I whinced in pain "Jer" I was in so much pain "Shh don't say to much your losing a lot of blood love" He grabbed my cheek "Just go Jeremiah I'll" I checked from blood "Be fine" I was dying slowly I felt my body let go.

Jeremiah's POV

She was laying there I didn't want to cry she was dying I could tell "Just go Jeremiah I'll" She chocked on her blood "Be fine" She then just let go I cried really hard I picked her up in my arms and ran through the tunnel "God dammit" I yelled I reached the end and found the doctor that I had helping my with my project. "Doctor help" I yelled I heard shoes "Yes sir"
"Please help her" I set her down and the doctor kelt beside her "Jeremiah the tunnel is almost done" I tried to smile but couldn't "Okay umm I'll go and see"

••A few hours later••

I was walking back to see if the doctor did anything "Doctor is she ok" I asked raising a lamp and then setting it down "Yes she will be fine she'll actually be waking up soon" I clapped and sat down next time her she started groaning.
