Chapter~4•

Alice's POV

I felt alive again "Is this heaven" I said out loud I heard a chuckle and then opened my eyes "Jer!" I was so happy I tried getting up but my side burned.
"Ouch" I groaned out "Take it easy you should be better in a couple minutes" Jeremiah told me "Once you do I have a little something" He smiled and oh god did I love that. "I'm sorry about earlier Jer" I said reaching for his face. "What are you talking about" He asked "About Ecco" I huffed "Oh darling are we a bit jealous" He laughed a little "I'm not" I mumbled out "What was that" He asked "Didn't catch it" He chuckled "I said I'm not" I rolled my eyes.
He laughed again "Oh sweets I think you are" I sighed "Whatever Jeremiah" "Piss off" I waved my hand to him. "Oh don't be like that love" I rolled my eyes and sat up "I said piss off" He grabbed my neck and my chin with Gus hands "Don't" He said sharp "Or what" I spit a bit he leaned in and kissed me hard and then he pulled back "Or that" He got up and walked away "Come on" I stood up "Fuckk" I blurred out when I stood up.

We walked through the tunnel in silence when I giggled a bit Jeremiah was in front of me he was walking all sassy. He didn't say anything... Yet. I couldn't stop myself from laughing yes it hurt like hell with my stitches. "Why are you laughing" Jeremiah asked I giggled before answering "Oh nothing" I replied I put my hands behind my back and stuck my head up a bit.

We reached Waybe Manor? "Uh Jer why are we here" I asked "The surprise a waits" When we reached the end we walked into the living space "Doctor I'm hearing good things" Jeremiah spoke "Yes I the bandages are ready to come off, would you like to see" The doctor said back "Indeed I would" There was a long pause until Jeremiah stepped forward and he met out a laugh "Oh my you too look.. Beautiful" He almost whispered "Ah i love family reunions don't you" He laughed even more. I was shocked the two people sat in front of Jeremiah were exact replicas of Thomas and Martha Wayne. I didn't know what to do oh my god.

It was a little while later I was sitting down on the couch thinking someone walked in but I didn't care much "What are you thinking about" It was Jeremiah "Nothing" I answered I didn't know exactly what I was thinking about. "Tell me" I sighed and turned toward him "Jeremiah" I put my hand on his face "Do you love Ecco" He was looking at me "What are you even saying dear" He didn't smile he just looked at me "You didn't answer me" I let my hand drop "But I suppose I have my answer" Me and Jeremiah weren't official yet. "Alice" He said "Please don't leave" He begged  "You love Ecco" I simply said "As a friend" He added I shook my head "Then answer this" Before he could speak I spoke "If I died what would you do, I saw how you reacted to her death. When I saw stabbed though nothing" I said a tear escaped my eyes "YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING JEREMIAH YOU JUST" I sobbed as I was telling "Dear calm down please" He pleaded "NO YOU JUST STOOD THERE NO WORDS" I screamed.

I stormed off he didn't follow he sat there. I went to our room I knew he'd come by or he wouldn't I didn't know. "Darling it's me open up" He paused "Please" Jeremiah stood outside waiting I opened to door and then went back to my corner were I was crying. "Love I'm sorry please" He walked over to me and crouched down beside me "Jeremiah I don't wanna talk right now" I said tears rolling down my face "No we need to. I don't have feelings toward Ecco, I did do something well after she stabbed you I'm the one that helped you I couldn't do anything I was struck by fear I thought you were gonna die" He whispered to me and reached to touch my face.

After a while I got up and he did too we sat in silence for a little and I never answered him. I went over to the bed "Jer I'm not mad anymore it was stupid to get mad about something like that I know you didn't but I couldn't tell myself that I was a bit jealous but I couldn't admit it" I whispered to him as he laid in bed next to me. "Darling it's okay, come here" He said to me so gentle. I flipped over to look at him and smiled I scitted closed to him I kissed in softly and then turned around so he was spooning me.

Sorry it's a bit short I didn't write much. The next part might be some spice but also in not gonna stick to some stuff but Jeremiah isn't gonna go to Ace chemicals or whateva.
