As he stared
The house flared
A bright Crimson Red
He shouted, "Ted!"!!
And made to move
Near the house- to Ted's room
For that was where
Poor Ted was about to be engulfed by the flare
Then came two hands
Encircling him like iron bands
They pushed him away
Far from the fire's angry ray
He cried out loud
And made to break away from the crowd
He tried to go towards Ted
Who was threatened by the fire blazing red
Then ran into the house a man, the fire was getting bigger and bigger
He came out carrying in his arms, a limp figure
The other boy immediately knew it was Ted.
And bolted towards him like a bullet of led
Only to find his beloved Ted,
Was now in the Kingdom of dead.
Silent tears flowed from his red puffy eyes
There was nothing he could do to get Ted back alive.
