Chapter Twenty One - Lunch

My loves! I wanted to give you all just a brief FAQ before we dive into the chapter! Some of these questions were submitted while others are just a compilation of ones that I get often! Hope this helps!

• How should we imagine Nia?
    - I purposely avoided casting any characters, including Nia and excluding Harry (obviously) because I feel like it's important to imagine who you want! I want Nia to be symbolic of all the beautiful black queens out there so imagine her to your ideal standards! She's every woman❤️

• What era of Harry should we be imagining?
      - PNS is Current Harry! He typically always has a beard or facial hair of any sort, since Nia told him in Chapter Three (Good) that she likes when he doesn't shave.

- The gifs are mainly used for his facial expressions unless I just so happen to find a gif from the current era + the outfit described in the chapter! But facial hair + Current Harry is always the default PNS Harry!

• How old are Nia and Harry?
      - Nia is 26 and Harry is 27!

     - And just to clear up everyone's ages: Jules & Aaron are 31 and 32 + their daughter Chloe is 3. Mariana & Scott are both 27 and Javi is 12! And Brandon (gross) is 26!

• What is Harry's job?
         - Harry is the head editor of a publishing company, Arrow and a published author! This is also where Mariana (a publicist) and Scott (graphic designer) work, as stated in chapter two.

- And while we're on the subject, Aaron is a celebrity photographer (hence his story time about Lizzo in Chapter Two) and Jules is a stay-at-home Mother to their daughter.

• What are the italicized lines?
      - Those are Nia and Harry's subconscious thoughts, or "demons" as Nia refers to them or "personas" as Harry refers to them.

-They're usually mean and intrusive, usually calling them names, putting false perceptions in their heads, and questioning all their choices. This is a result of Nia's social anxiety + depression and Harry's general anxiety as well.

• When will we get more of Javi's story?
      - Keep on reading!

• Will we ever get different hairstyles on Nia?
     - Absolutely! As a black girl, I know how much we love to switch up our hair regularly so that will definitely be reflected in the story at some point!

• How did you come up with these characters/story? Is it based on your life?

- All these characters and their stories are purely from my imagination!

- If you ever notice any similarities to any other stories: it is purely, genuinely, and wholeheartedly coincidental. I would never steal from anyone, my loves!

• How many chapters will the story be?
      - I genuinely have no clue! I'll just keep on writing until I feel like their story has reached fulfillment!

• When will you update next?
       - It's hard for me to stick to a schedule because like my bio says, I suck at time management and my mental health do be shitty as hell. Definitely holds me up.

- Also: I might get pre occupied with real life at times and prioritize other things over writing. But it's always in the back of my mind!

- I plan to be finished with the story no later than the end of December.
