I stopped in front of his room before pushing the door to enter.
"Hey Evin, Next time I'll.." before I can continue, the rest of my words died down in my throat as I come to an abrupt halt, my eyes widening from shock as I gawked at the scene in front of me.
A girl settled comfortably beside Evin on his bed, close, too close, holding his hands tenderly in her lap.
Ohhh...
I just stood rooted at my spot, staring wide-eyed at the Evin and stranger, a stranger to me at least, the holding hands, too engrossed in each other to pay any heed to the slamming of the door the wall when I opened it, to even notice another presence in the room.
I can't see the expression on Evin's face as his head is hung low, looking down whilst the girl beside him is talking to him in inaudible faint murmurs.
I stood there frozen, immovable at the threshold as I watched the girl scoot close to him, placing her hand on his bicep before slowly leaning in close to........kiss him.....
Just Get out of here Andrea!!
Just as I was about to listen myself and turn around with a weird feeling weighing down on my chest, to leave this room, Evin looked up, his body going completely rigid as his eyes meet mine.
His eyes widened in shock as he finally noticed the third presence, a.k.a me in the room.
Just turn around and get out of the damn room!!
He stayed frozen on his spot, discombobulated and fazed by my sudden arrival, staring wide-eyed at me with an appalling look on his face before he finally moved his gaze from my face back to the girl in front of him.
His gaze instantly left her face and fall upon at their clasped hands on her lap, he closed his eyes as if in suffering and immediately wrested his hands out of her grasp, not even sparing her another glance.
He hastily scooted back, away from her before finally staring at her with a blank and inscrutable expression.
Move you, stupid idiot!
I cleared my throat awkwardly, fingers of the hand behind my back twisting anxiously with each other, before saying "I..umm....sorry...I thought...nevermind.. I'll just leave...I didn't know" I muttered the last part under my breath so they can't hear and skittered out of the room without a backward glance before closing the door behind me.
I quickly took a seat on one of the seats outside the room, precipitously placing my bag down on another chair before slowly dragging a hand down my face.
I heaved an arduous sigh of dejection.
So that's why he was being weird on the call, he had a company.
An absolutely gorgeous- way gorgeous than me- company, might I add.
Every girl around him is so fucking beautiful, it's so annoying.
She could be his... girlfriend?
For some reason that thought made my stomach churn, dampening my already worsen mood.
So she's the reason he didn't want me here...
My shoulders slumped slightly as realisation finally dawned upon me that he really didn't want me to come.
