I ran out the high school door, I didn't care if it was raining, I didn't care if my new shoes were going to get wet or my mother was going to scold me for being late home, I only cared about what I just saw. The same scene was continually repeating in my head as my tears matched the raindrops and glided down my cheeks. How could I have trusted him so much and he ended up doing this to me?

I heard quick footsteps behind me, followed by a voice.

Did he really think I was going to speak to him as if nothing, that I'd stand there waiting for him and together we'd fix everything again? I wasn't that naive either.

The footsteps were slowly approaching me until I noticed that a hand grabbed me by the arm to make me turn around.
