I was finishing tying my sandals when I heard my mother's voice downstairs.

-______ hurry up or I won't take you, I have to be at the office in 30 minutes- she said.

I snorted, I still had to put on my makeup, I ran to the bathroom and put on some mascara, miraculously it didn't enter in my eye as usual, I brushed my lips with a gloss and ran down the stairs to leave my house and get on the car.

-You have finally put on the dress I bought you, I thought I was going to have to return it - my mother said smiling

"You bought it for me two days ago, Mom," I replied, rolling my eyes, at that moment my mother's cell phone begins to ring and she quickly answers.

I looked out of the window, the truth is that I was a little nervous. Today I was meeting at the cinema with Louis, a childhood friend who, to be honest, I have liked for almost three years. When he proposed it to me, I thought he meant meeting with the rest of our friends as usual, but he himself specified that he wanted to meet ME today. And here I am, five minutes away from where I will meet him and on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

The car stopped abruptly in front of the cinema door, my mother kissed me while she was still talking on the phone, I walked towards the entrance of the building, there were many people and I couldn't see the boy I was meeting.

"Maybe he hasn't come", "Maybe he thought about this and didn't want to meet me"

All my thoughts were erased when I saw a brown haired boy with a smile from ear to ear appear in front of me.

-Louis! - I greeted him and we hugged
-You look beautiful - he said smiling
-Thank you- I said as I looked away to the ground blushing - you're not bad either
-Not bad? - Said raising an eyebrow - I'll take it as a compliment.
I laughed at that comment and we both went to the box office to get the tickets, it took a while to decide which movie to watch but we ended up choosing a comedy that looked good.

Once we were sitting in the cinema room and eating a huge box of popcorn that we had bought, various commercials and movie trailers began to be shown on the big screen. I always liked to see which movies were going to be released soon so I could decide which ones I wanted to see next time, however I could not concentrate because I noticed Louis's gaze resting on me in the middle of the commercials, my heart began to accelerate, I could look at him but I was really nervous. Luckily for me, before I reacted, the movie started and he turned his gaze back to the screen.

We hadn't been in the room for half an hour and I was starting to get bored, the movie wasn't very good. I rested my hand on the armrest of the seat to accommodate myself when suddenly I noticed how a hand was placed on top of mine, it was Louis's, my heart skipped a beat, "Did he put it accidentally or on purpose?" He didn't take it away so I deduced that it was his intention. I noticed that he had turned to look at me and was outlining a small smile, surely it was because I was more red than a tomato.

"'Should I remove my hand or leave it?"Or is it better if I run out of the room?"

My subconscious kept asking thousands of questions about the situation, most of which were incoherent. On the other hand my heartbeat was racing, it seemed that at any moment it would get out of my chest. Suddenly I heard a whisper in my ear.

-Do you know why I wanted to be alone with you? - Hearing his voice so close made me tingle all over my body, I shook my head to answer him, I didn't even know how to speak - Because I love spending time alone with you - He made a brief pause - I like you ______.

I felt like I was about to faint, what I was hearing couldn't be true, I turned my head towards him incredulously and I found his face closer than I thought it was. I didn't know what to answer, but I didn't have time to think, in a second I noticed his lips joining mine, my heart didn't stop beating strongly, the kiss was brief but enough to cause me to smile slightly. Before our lips parted I whispered to him.

-You don't kiss bad at all
