Ch. 2

Annabeths POV

I wake up, and all I hear is screeching.

"Liv give me my shoes! I want to wear them today and they are mine! Not yours!" My little sister Lexi yells from downstairs.

"I will give them back after school!" Olivia, Lexi's twin sister yells back. Olivia and Alexa are my little 10 year old twin sisters. And then Carter, my brother is 12.

When I get out of bed I knock on their bedroom door and yell, "How about neither of you wear them!?"

I hear shuffling and the door opens to Livvy's face (Liv and Livvy are Olivias nick names and Lexi is Alexas nick name.)

"But Annie, they are MY shoes!" Liv protests.

"Yeah, but your never gonna end this fight unless neither of you get them. Lexi come 'ere!" I say. Lexi comes over. "Your gonna take off your shoes and neither of you are gonna wear them today. Okay?" I ask.

"Yes ma'am" they say in sync.

"Good. Now I have to get ready." And I leave the room.

When my siblings and I get to school there is a crowd surrounding something/ someone. When my sisters go to their building, and my brother goes to his, I slowly walk towards the crowd. Our school has three buildings. One for the elementary school, one for middle school, and one for high school.

When I get close enough to see who's in the middle, I roll my eyes. Brooke and Thalia. Everyone is yelling, "fight, fight, fight" and so on.

I push my way through the crowd, occasionally saying, "excuse me," and get to the center.

When Brooke sees me, she says, "oh look who finally decided to show up."

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"I told everyone your little secret, about how your cheating on Jake for the new kid, Percy. And then your little friend here," she says pointing to Thalia, "decided to stand up for you and now here we are." She says with a smirk on her face.

"First of all, I never cheated on Jake. Also, why would I cheat on him for the new kid, which the only time we ever talked to each other was in homeroom?" I retort.

"Okay, what ever you say" she sings. Ugh that brat.

When everyone leaves but, Piper, Reyna, Thalia, Hazel, Percy, Jason, Frank, Leo, and Grover, I decide to ask the question. "What was she talking about?!"

"Im guessing it was a rumor she made up," Hazel offered.

"Probably. But just so you guys know, none of that was true. But I do want to break up with Jake. He's a jerk. But thats not the point. None if what she said was true." I said. Then I walked to homeroom.
