"What are you doing here?" A female voice hissed.
A tall man with long green hair and a single blood red eye laughed, "What am I doing? At my son's wedding?"
The two figures stood alone in an empty hotel suite. There were long white curtains billowing in the gentle wind, and soft yellow light came in through the open window. There was one long mirror behind the woman, one she was previously using to check her appearance.
The woman scowled, "You lost the right to call him that years ago!"
The man sighed with a smile and walked towards the woman. He ran the long white veil the woman was wearing between his fingers.
"Oh Hilda," he hummed softly, "I'm just being polite."
Hilda pulled away, taking a few steps back from the man, "What do you want, Ghetsis?"
"Can't I just visit?" Ghetsis asked, an uncharacteristically kind smile upon his face.
"Wouldn't you want to see N, then?" Hilda asked, "Why are you here with me?"
Ghetsis took a step towards the brunette, "Because he's not afraid of me," he took another step, "I can see the fear that dwells in your eyes when you see me."
Hilda took a step back, trying not to trip on her wedding dress, "What do you want from me?"
The eye of the man was crazed, even thought the rest of his body presented a calm energy, "I want you to remember."
Hilda suddenly decided to stand her ground, holding her chin up as Ghetsis stepped incredibly close to her, "I know what you are- I know what you're doing."
Ghetsis gently grabbed the sides of Hilda's face with one hand, "You look just like him..." he whispered.
Hilda's heart was pounding. Her legs were shaking and she wanted to run out of the room. She wanted to run far far away from the man that ruined and poisoned her life for years. She swallowed her fear and put on her bravest face.
Ghetsis suddenly tightened his grasp and leaned in close, "You may fool the rest, but you cannot fool me," he hissed, his breath cold on her skin, "Your husband, your children, and your children's children, will all be nothing but empty husks of madness. They will know nothing except their human forms that are hollow of a heart. They will have my blood rushing through their veins whether you like it or not. You will see nothing but me in them, no matter how hard you to try to forget."
Hilda couldn't breathe. She didn't dare try, either.
Ghetsis released her, "You and that freak are perfect for each other. He wears his weak emotions on his sleeve, and you're too broken to feel them at all." He walked towards the door he came in, giving Hilda one last kind smile over his shoulder, "Arceus save the queen and long live the king."
Illusion woke up with a start. As he sat up, Zorua tumbled onto the floor with a thud.
"Hey!" Zorua exclaimed, "What's the big idea?"
Illusion couldn't hear her. His entire body was shaking. Musharna! He forget to let her out before he went to sleep!
That dream...was different than the dream that usually plagued his mind. He had only ever had one dream in his entire life (when he even dreamed), so this was incredibly unsettling.
Illusion sporadically pat his body, feeling for his phone. He found it in his hoodie's pocket and pulled it out. He had dozens of unread texts. He opened his phone and made a call.
"C-Can I come over?"
