Nightmare - Izuku Midoryia

Summary: You're sleeping with Deku until he starts screaming because of a nightmare

You wake up to the sound of cries, you gently rubbed your eyes, so you could focus on the image. And there he was, Izuku having the worst nightmare he could ever imagine. Your boyfriend was twisting and turning in his sleep, mumbling escaping his lips the longer you stared.

You knew leaving him in this state would be horrible, but if you touched him or forced him to wake up it could cause more damage. So, placed your head on his chest, listening to his heart beat to calm you down from doing anything crazy.

His body soon moved more than before, he was waking up. You lifted your head, taking his arm and holding it tightly in your grasp.

The green haired boy screamed as he woke up, tears falling down his cheeks as he looked around the room frantically. You wrap your arms around him, jumping on his lap. "It's okay."

He was still screaming, not comprehending that you were in his grasp. "Sh, I'm here."

Your hands traveled to his hair, softly playing with it so he could calm down.

"Please, you're okay," your eyes began to water, scared at his condition.

"Y/N!" He shouted, "Y/N!"

"I'm okay, I'm with you, Zuku," he stopped screaming once he heard the nickname, his arms dropping to the side. Izuku was now staring at the wall in disbelief, tears dripping down his face.

"Y/N," he blinked.

"I'm with you," I pulled away, now looking at his face.

His hands traveled to your cheek, still staring with those big eyes, "You died."

"You were dead," he cried, "you were in my arms not breathing."

"Y-your heart stopped," he added, tears spilling as he talked.

You raised your body up, gently putting his head against your chest. "Your hear that? That's my heart. It's beating."

Midoriya's eyes widen at the sound of your heart pumping. He grabbed your waist pushing you closer, to hear it clearer.

"That's your heart?" He asked.

"It is," You smiled.

He lifted his head up, wrapping his arms around your neck, making you two fall backwards. "Don't die on me."

"I never will," you kissed his cheek, your lips damping up because of his tears.

"I love you, Y/N," he whispered in your ear, "so much."

"I love you more."
