Marinette
I looked around the airport and smiled. I was going back to Gotham. Adrien and Chloé sat next to me with grins on their faces. They knew all about Damians and I's game. But of course the smiles didn't last.
"Miss. Bustier! Marinette took my bag!" Lila yelled
"No I didn't. It behind the trash can. You can see it from here." I said as I pointed to the bright orange suitcase that was halfway behind the trash can.
"Oh, it must be my Alzheimer's. I can't control it." Lila said with a blush.
"How long have you had Alzheimers Lila?" I asked, but it was more of a hiss.
"A few years." She replied with confidence.
I heard Chloé turn around. I knew this was hard on her. Her grandma had Alzheimer's, and Lila doing this is throwing it in her face. Chloé came to me when her grandma was on deaths door, looking for comfort. No one knew but me.
"Then how can you function? Alzheimer patients grow progressively worse between 4-20 years. Most die between 4-8 years. So tell me again Lila, how long have you had Alzheimer's?" I got closer to her with each sentence. I was going to protect my friend from any pain that still lingers from what happened.
Lila stood frozen for a second before she stuttered our an excuse.
"Oh it must be the concussion you gave me yesterday." She stuttered.
I rolled my eyes and walked over to Chloé and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. Adriens arm was wrapped around her waist, supporting her in any way he can.
"Thank you Mari. It's still hard." She whispered, trying to even out her breathing.
"Don't worry about it Chloé. That's what I'm for. Now," I smirked "who wants to call Damian and tell him he's going to lose our little game." I held my phone up as we boarded first class. Ignoring Lilas claims behind us.Of course I get left behind.
They did it in London. They did it in China.
I shouldn't be too shocked. Well I am. I groaned before I started my long walk to the hotel.
I shivered as a breeze blew through my leather jacket. I wasn't wearing much. I wore a red tank top with a black R over my right breast, with black, skinny jeans, combat boots, and my leather jacket. It may seem a lot, but it's not. So I kept walking, trying to remember which way I should go to the hotel.
I was never good at directions on the ground, rooftops I know where everything is.
"Miss. You really shouldn't be out this late." The familiar voice of Robin said behind me. I smirked and shrugged my shoulders, not turning around.
"I think a nice walk can do some good." I replied back, glancing over my shoulder. "You know for a hero, you sure know how to be nice."
"Well, nice isn't one of my qualities, or an obligation." He shot back.
I turned around, arms crossed over my chest, a smirk plastered on my lips. "But you can sass your way into helping them I see. Still not going to win." I replied.
I watched him freeze, before he wrapped an arm around my waist and grappled us onto the nearest roof. I laughed as he set me down with a gentle hand.
"Do you do this with all the girls?" I purred. As I turned around and walked around the roof, checking to see where I was. I'm not too far from my hotel.
"When did you get in?" He asked, turning me around to face him. When did he get so close?
I chuckled "Just now, Mr. Mouse. And before you ask, I'm with my class, it's suppose to be a surprise." I told him with a pout at the end.
His brows furrowed together. Here we go.
"Why aren't you with them?" He asked
"Late night stroll, if you will." I said as I walked to the edge of the roof again on the opposite side.
"Oh, does the kitty want to play chase?" Robin teased.
I smirked and sashayed over to him, leaning in close to his face. "Kitty and chase, don't go together, Mousey. Wanna help a girl out?" I asked with an innocent smile.
His arms snaked around my waist and he planted a kiss on my cheek. "I can't. Something seems to be distracting me." He whispered into my ear.
I giggled, but a blush crept onto my face. I kissed his lips, moved out of his arms and jumped to the next roof.
"Don't Tell anyone I'm here! I mean it, Mr. Mouse!" I called before I raced to my hotel by rooftop. My face was as red as a tomato. Every time I see him for the first time in months, I'm a blushing mess. Tomorrow I'll be better. When I stepped into the hotel, I was tackled to the ground by Adrien and Chloé.
"You scared the hell out of us!" They yelled as we sat up.
"I'm fine guys. I saw him while I was out. More like he found me, and we had a little stand off. I can't believe he's going to see Lila." I mumbled.
"It'll be fine, Mari. Plus, we finally get to meet our pen pals. I'm excited to meet Helena, and Chloé will get to see Jon again." Adrien said with a smile.
I smirked as I turned to Chloé. "How is Jon? I haven't heard from him in awhile."
She blushed and smiled fondly. "He's good."
Adrien and I laughed as we grabbed our bags and headed to our room.We got the fucking suite!
You have got to be shitting me! Did Bruce know it's my class?! I'm gonna kill him!
But I'll do it tomorrow. The suite had three individual bedroom, a living room, an island in the kitchen, and a full kitchen. I took a room and collapsed into bed.
"Tikki, did you open a window?" I asked as I turned my head to face the open window, that was keeping me from slumber.
"No, Mari. But close it!" Tikki whined, before disappearing to cuddle with Plagg. I slowly, very slowly, got up and closed the window.
"From one sneak to another, close the window, when you decide to enter my bedroom." I hissed as Damian, not in his Robin uniform, pulled me into a kiss.
"But I've missed you, Kitty Cat." He said, a smile on his lips.
"I missed you too Mr. Mouse." I whispered back, pulling him down by his collar and kissing him breathless. "Who did you tell?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
"Dick. Only because he can keep a secret." Damian said, nipping my lip before recapturing my lips with his. A soft groan escaped my lips into his, and he gently pushed me towards the bed.
"Do you know that a certain cat, has crawled into my bed one day. Said she wanted to have some fun, what do you think Miss. Kitty?" Damian whispered huskily.
I smiled and pulled his shirt off. "Couldn't think of anything better myself." I said before kissing him.
