Two side's to every story

Leaving for Australia

"Katy, wake up you're running late, you have 2 and a half hours until your flight leaves!" Moans Katy's mum.

"Okay give me half an hour and I will be ready." Replied Katy still half asleep.

Katy wasn't sure about her leaving her mum behind in England whilst she was going Australia. She had never left the country without her before.She wasn't sure if she wanted to go anymore but she convinced herself to go as she needs a better education than what she is recieving now.

She manged to drag herself out of bed and get ready after 5 minutes of lying there thinking about her new life that she is going to be experiencing. New sights, new smells, new everything.

"Katy come on, you are late as it is." Shouted Katy's mum realising at how little time Katy had left to get to the airport.

"I'm just checking I have everything mum, hang on." Katy said.

She checked her list to make sure everything she needed was in her bag, and when she was finished, she put her lagguage in the car, fastened her seat belt and headed for the airport.

"Mum, I'm scared of leaving you."

"Sweetie don't be, I will be fine, no need to panic."

"Only if you are sure."

"Of course I am." Katy's mum answered ending the conversation.

At the airport car park, Katy took a deep breath and shredded a few tears.

"What's wrong Katy?" Her mum questioned.

"It's the thought of not seeing you for ages and you being here alone." Katy spoke with tears running down her face, her makeup all smudged.

"How many times do I have to tell you, I will be fine. We can still call and text every day and in the evenings, we could sometimes video chat yeah?" Replied Katy's mum trying to fight the tears back herself.

"Okay mum, I have to go now, I love you." Snuffled Katy.

"I love you too darling."
