"I just left the courtyard [Y/N], everyone has left for the Great Hall for dinner." I spin around to see Luna leaning against the doorframe.

"Thank you Luna, you're always such an angel to me," I engulf her in a much needed hug. She holds me briefly then holding me at arms length, looking me up and down.

"[Y/N]! You look amazing!" She fixes my necklace, lying it straight on my neck, "Light green is your colour, are you sure you aren't a Slytherin?" Okay Luna, I'll play along.

"Well I would expect the likes of you to understand the inner workings of the housing system, it takes a certain 'je ne sais qui'. I can't believe you would even trouble me with your presence! My father will hear about this!" We burst out giggling at my impression of Malfoy. She gives me one last hug before pushing towards the door.

"Now go, don't leave Cedric waiting."

I rush down to the courtyard to make sure everything is ready. Candles? check. Picnic food? check. Glasses? check. Blankets? check. Telescope? check. Okay is that it? no, there's something else, there has to be. Am I forgetting something? Ugh stop [Y/N] calm your nerves.

"[Y/N]?" I spin around to see my dashing boy. He's dressed in all black, which suits him so well. His eyes travel up and down my figure coming to rest on my face.

"Hey" I say in a flirty tone, drawing out the y. A smile grows across his face as I lean in to place a kiss on his lips. He skims his hands around my waist pulling me in tightly to him, as if the moment he let go I'd vanish into thin air. His lips leave mine and instead he hugs me for a moment. This is a serious contender for the best hug I have ever gotten. Seriously. I bury my face into the crook of his neck, inhaling softly. The smell of cedarwood fills my senses and pulls my heartstrings. My lips subconsciously turn up into the biggest smile I can muster.

"What are you smiling about?" I move back to look into his eyes.

"You. This moment. I'm just so happy I ended up here with you." I start to zone out looking into his eyes, him doing the same. Oh shit the picnic. I pull him forward leading him to the grass. "Okay so I knew this girl, we were best friends, and she was a muggle, she taught me all their Halloween traditions. I thought they'd be fun to try out" I turn to the side, uncovering the blanket, which had pumpkins, apple dunking and various types of sweets. I glance back at his face to gage his reaction, his eyes start glistening. "Oh what's wrong?" The concern was embarrassingly evident in my voice.

"Nothing, I'm just so lucky to have you, no one has ever done something like this with me." Help me, I'm melting, he really knows how to sweeten someone up. I grin brightly at him pulling him down to sit beside me. We sit side by side, my legs thrown over his. I reach over and grab the pumpkins, handing one to him and keeping one for myself. I pass him a knife but brandish my own at him threateningly but jokingly, "Your days are over Diggory," He puts his hands up surrendering, or so I thought. He grabs my wrist, slipping the knife away from my hand. He brings my wrist to his lips leaving soft velvety kisses across my arm. "Cedric! We have to carve the pumpkins!" I can barely talk through the ticklish laughter, "Stopp," He only continues,

"Never!" Eventually he does stop and we get back to carving the pumpkins, we sit across from each other now, cross-legged, hiding our creations. This pumpkin looks pretty good if I do say so myself. It has evil squinted eyes and a sharp toothed sinister smile. The scent of pumpkin sits heavily in the air, mixing with the cedarwood cologne and Honey perfume. Just add the finishing touches and...."done! " I look up at Cedric and we both spin our freshly carved pumpkins around.
