Broken

Chapter 8

"Not unless I kill him before the games do" I said sarcastically "I'm kidding I would never that how we mess around but I mean I don't think nothing will happen because like Cedric is smart" I said as I sat back down.
"You over think a lot" said Ron as I nodded a yes because he isn't wrong. After the library the next day was finally the first tasks of the games.
"Good luck brother, I love you good luck" I said before Cedric headed down to his first task.
"I love you too Jj" said Cedric as I hit him in the head. I decided to go just to tell him good luck and from there i left to the library to study.
The first task they had to do was dealing with dragons I didn't go to that one because I had a potions essay I had to take notes for. Two weeks later it was this other task where they had to save one of their friends that was in the black lake where the mermaids were at. Cedric had to save Cho Chang i heard a rumor that it was suppose to be me but they decided Cho which was a good thing. I was with Luna and Ginny when they were doing that task one girl from the other school decided to give up. I only went for a bit and then left because it was to cold. Not to mention they canceled the Yule Ball until after the games were over. After like two weeks, the second task was finally over it was now time for the last task. I just wanted the last task to be over so they can start planning the yule ball. This time I decided to actually go because my father came to see my brother compete in the maze run. My father sat with one of his old friends. But i sat next to Ron, Hermione, Luna, Ginny, and Neville. After like two hours of sitting there I noticed Malfoy was sitting in front of us.
"I came to witness Pottah loose" said Draco while being next to Pansy, Daphne, Millicent, and Blaise. I was surprised that Goyle and Crabbe weren't next to him they probably went to look for candy or sum.
"Excuse me Malfoy" I said as he turned around.
"Ugh It's you again" said Malfoy with a mean grin.
"Harry is smart so stop doubting him kid and so is my brother" I said as Pansy and them gave me a ugly look.
"Shut it Diggory" said Daphne. as I started hearing cheering I looked down and saw Harry. At that moment I clapped in cheer but with a bunch of butterflies in my stomach which meant that I was nervous about something and I knew it was something bad.
"See told you Malfoy" I said as they dogged me out. I didn't see Harry with a smile on his face instead I saw him crying. I stopped clapping and I lost my smile when i saw someone with a yellow shirt on the ground in that moment I knew it was Cedric. I stood still it was like everyone and everything was going in circles around me. I saw my father run down to where Cedric was laying at. I felt Ron and Hermione trying to hold me back but I just fought through them and ran down. I had accidentally bumped into Draco while trying to go down there and I didn't even say sorry which I didn't care.
"Cedric!!!!!" I screamed in the most heartfelt yell ever. "That's my son!! That's my boy" i heard my father cry and yell at the same time. I tried running to Cedric but Harry stood up and ran towards me and he tried holding me back.
"Calm down Justice please" said Harry in a broken voice.
"No that's my brother Harry" I replied back in the most broken voice ever. I knew my life was over. Without Cedric it meant that my whole life was going to be torn apart. I felt the sadness for the rest of my life already. Before I knew it I pushed through Harry and sat on the ground next to Cedric holding him while crying and yelling in pain.
"Please Cedric, please wake up stop playing with me. I know your awake Cedric please say something cedric" I said as everything stayed quiet the only thing being heard was my cry and yells and my father sobbing.
