Somehow my friend had talked me into going clubbing with a bunch of people that I barely knew. She was drunkily hitting on this random guy and I was keeping an eye on her. I made sure that I didn't have much to drink since I guessed I would probably have to drive my drunk friend home. I sat at the bar drinking a diet coke while I tried to ignore the drunken couples around me grinding on each other.

There was a drunk girl next to me at the bar who was basically throwing herself at the dude next to her with a ripped Nirvana tee. The dude was obviously uncomfortable, as he kept checking his phone and looking over to his friends across the dance floor. "So.. You wanna head back to my place or..." The blonde purred in his ear.  "Listen, your'e cute and Im very flattered. But you're drunk and-" The Nirvana shirt guy tried pushing her off him. "What do you have a girlfriend or something?" She teased.

I know it was none of my business and that I shouldn't have interferred but something came over me. I took a shot of my diet coke, trying to trick my brain into thinking it was alchohol and leaped off my stool. "Oh my gosh, where have you been? Ive been looking for you all over the place," I said to the Nirvana guy. He looked just as confused as the drunk blonde. "Wait- Are you his girlfriend?" The drunk asked. I swung my arm over his shoulder. "Yepper doo da!" I overreacted. The guy just nodded alongand the blonde nodded understandingly, "Sorry, didnt realize this sex god had a girlfriend..." She wrote something down on a piece of napkin. "Listen if it doesn't work out, here's my number," She said into his ear and catwalked away.

As soon as she walked away, I removed my arm from his shoulder.  "Im sorry but I just couldn't watch anymore of this trainwreck. You looked very uncomfortable and I-" He just laughed. "Thank you so much, I was just about to tell her I was gay just so she would leave me alone," I nodded. "I'm not gay by the way," He added. "Well, just glad I could help," And I turned away to return to my seat at the bar.

"Wait! Do you mind keeping me company?" He asked. "Um, Okay," I said slowly. "I'm Calum by the way," "Y/N," you reply.
