A/N: I accidentally published it way earlier.
Jimin's POV:
This is not the first time that Heji noona is late and it has been repeating quite a lot. I decided to not wait and call Heji noona.
She basically forgot that she had to fetch her son from the studio because she was busy cooking for her ex husband. How could someone suddenly become a good wife, but forget how to be a good mother?
I told her if I could just drop Yeonjoo off because it was getting late. I closed the studio down temporarily and got into the car with Yeonjoo. It's his first time on my car.
"Woah! This is cooler than kook hyung's cool bike.", he said as he was looking around after being strapped up in the passenger seat.
"Let me ask you. Do you eat dinner at home?", I asked him because I was worried if he's eating properly. "I eat, but I don't eat with them anymore.", he answered sadly.
I've never had such careless parents, but I've seen it with Jungkook and now I'm seeing it again with Yeonjoo. I sighed and drove the both of us into the restaurant we went into when we went to Everland.
It's around 6pm and it's dinner in an hour, I guess we'll have it early. "This is a date.", I whispered to him and he was chuckling.
I made him choose what he wanted us to eat and honestly? It's great to have Yeonjoo picking food for me again. He just makes everything feel okay when he's around.
It's like a strong maternal bond where a mother is at ease when her child is out of danger and not out of her sight. "I really missed eating dinner with you.", I told him and he grinned at me.
"I missed having dinner with people other than my toys.", he said excitedly. They were harsh words that came out from an innocent little boy.
I had to keep myself from shedding tears. Yeonjoo didn't deserve to have this unfair treatment. I wish I could do more.
Our food arrived at the table and we started eating. Yeonjoo just reminds me of Jungkook so I took a few snaps of him wolfing down his food.
I enjoyed seeing him eat so deliciously and that alone made my stomach full. I ate for a few bites and Yeonjoo was actually able to finish all the rest.
"Where did you take all that food?", I asked him playfully and he patted his stomach and stood up. "I don't think I can sit down. I'm too full.", he said and then released a long burp.
The people on the nearby table giggled at his cuteness and he bowed politely in apology to that. I called for the waiter to pay and left with Yeonjoo dragging me back to the car.
I went todrive him back to their house and knocked on the door, the door was answered by his father and he smiled at me. "Good evening Mr. Kim.", I greeted and he nodded in recognition.
"Thank you for driving Yeonjoo back.", he said and I nodded. Yeonjoo waved a goodbye to me and I waved back to him as I went back to my car.
I drove back to the studio as Jungkook will be in there in a few minutes. The initial feeling of being full earlier has subsided. I only had a few pr less than four to five bites of my food.
I was too entertained with Yeonjoo eating vigorously. He's a growing child so he needed it. At least he ate dinner wiyh me this time.
I parked the car again and went to go up the studio. I practiced the dance for the last time in front of the mirror and waited for Jungkook to come.
I was dancing to other songs when Jungkook came but I didn't stop dancing. I continued to dance freestyle until the song ended and I got claps from Jungkook.
