This chapter is filled with flashbacks so try not to get confused.

Jimin's POV:

MONDAY,

When Jungkook left the hospital to go take his exams, my mother knew that I was awake. The both of us were already awake.

Jin hyung seemed surprised when my mom and I sat up in sync. "Okay, let me talk to the doctor so they could discharge you.", he said and I was just nodding.

He left the room and I was left with Jin hyung who still seemed stunned. "I swear, the two of you are twins.", he declared and I chuckled at him.

A lot of people has already said that to me and my mother. I mean, it's not my fault inheriting such great genes. "What was that though?", Jin hyung asked.

"We can't worry Jungkook because he still needs to take his exams.", I told him quietly and he nodded in understanding. "That boy was so worried about you.", he said and I hummed.

"I felt the almost all of the pain stripping off my body in an instant, but still leaving me fatigue. I heard that Jungkook was the one who took that much damage.", I told him.

I'm still thankful of Jungkook for doing that. I would've been dead by now if he didn't manage to miraculously do it. I was so close to giving up because of the unbearable pain.

I made sure to be able to remove the dextrose by myself and stood up. I'm energized now as my mother injected a serum into me last night.

It's a form of a harmless drug that is apparently working only for me. That serum contains synthetic pheromones that is foreign to my body to eliminate the stressed and damaged hormones.

I got myself dressed properly and sat on the side of the the hospital bed while waiting for my mom to come back with the doctor.

When they came back, the doctor discharged me and my mother was obviously unamused when he noticed that I removed the IV needle by myself.... again.

We went home and Jin hyung said that he will be going to work since I'm already discharged from the hospital and didn't need to take care of me.

Jin hyung ended up taking my mom and I home to my and Jungkook's apartment because Jungkook took the car with him.

When we reached the apartment, my mother quickly made me sit on the couch and that only meant that I should be listening to what he had to say.

He sighed and faced me. "I really thought you were pregnant last night.", he told me and I gasped. My mother has never been wrong with identifying whether someone is pregnant or not. He would always be right so this is a surprise.

"I studied your scent the whole time when I got there, until your friends left you with Jungkook. You aren't pregnant, but you're close to that.", he started and sighed.

"What do you mean?", I asked him as I demanded for an answer immediately. "You mentioned that kid, right? The one you took care of?", he asked and I was nodding.

"What does he smell like?", he asked again and I was skeptical, but this is just my mother's way of identifying whether his theories were correct. "Like honey from a wild beehive.", I answered and he was nodding this time.

"You're in the process that I call rebirth.", he said and I have heard that before, but not able to recall what. "You've exposed yourself with a kid who opened himself for the nurture that you give.", he said.

"It's similar to mating, but this is a parent-child connection. The kid has been able to replace his mother's pheromones that he got from birth with yours. So if Jungkook and you are in a process of mating bond, you and that kid is in a process of reforming bond."
