As a little girl,
All I wanted in my teenage years was to have little things lining my mirror.
Like pictures with friends at parties, Tickets to that movie me and
My boyfriend drove to a few hours away, and
Other memorabilia.
Now I'm a teenager and
My mirror is lined with memorial cards of friends and relatives,
Photos never printed (they're still on my phone),
No tickets to the movie with the boyfriend I don't have but
There are things there to remind me of the innocent girl I was and
The mature girl I've become.
