The room Jake was now in seemed to be a dining room. In the middle was a silver bowl that was covered with a lid. He moved over to it and saw the paper was stuck inside. He moved over to the table and reached out for the lid, lifting it and seeing yet another note.

A magical bowl

silver in looks

can make anything

 in history books.

Jake smiled and thought about taking the bowl home and hiding it so he could do what he pleased with it. Maybe get some extra money since his mother never have him any, nor did his father who never seemed to be home when he was.

He reached out and picked up the letter. Nothing happened. He shrugged and placed his hands around the bowl, but yanked back quickly as the bowl turned red hot. Another second and he would have been burned badly. Suddenly the bowl began to fill with golden coins, like in past treasures, along with gems of different kinds and jewelry.

Jake waited until it stopped filling, which ended up flooding the table with these items. When it was done, it returned to its normal color and everything went silent. The clinking of coins faded as he just stood there staring at it. He dug a hand in and picked up a pile of coins and gems, placing them in one of his pockets. He looked at the pile again and grabbed an expensive and beautiful necklace, fit for a queen. He admired it a moment before placing it too in his pocket.

The note in his hand turned black again before making yet another note, before he moved on to the next room.

Greedy hands cause sticky fingers.

It then turned black before yanking out of his hand and floating out another door on the other side of the room.

Jake didn't follow just yet. He stared at the pile and thought about what the note had said. He quickly pulled out the majority of coins in his pocket and threw them back onto the pile. He went to reach for the rest of them but just then all the items on the table were sucked into the bowl and the lid replaced itself. The room quickly grew darker and Jake rushed out the door into the next room.
