Chapter 3

Secret's POV

"So tell me about yourself." Matty asked. Damn dat voice though!

"Well what do you wanna know?" I asked.

"You know the basics. How old you are, have you lived here your whole life. You know the basics" He told me.

"Oh um my real name is Secret. Uh I moved here with my friends about 3 years ago. I'm 20 (A/N I forgot how old Da Kurlzz is so in this fanfic the guys are around 20-25 and the girls are 20) almost 21. I'm the oldest out of me, Skylarr and Suzzie. I grew up in New York with them and we've been inseparable for years. And music has been my life and it has inspired me and the girls to become dancers. And that's all I can think of." I told him. "What about you?" I asked him.

"Well my name is Matty. I grew up here in LA. I have 5 crazy ass friends and all 6 of us shared the house across from you. Im 22. And that's all I can think of for now." He told me smiling. But there was a look in his eye that he wanted to tell me more, but I'm not gonna push him to tell me.

"That's cool that you grew up here." I told him taking a dip of my chocolate milk.

"Yea I guess. not much happens here except the occasionally drive-bys." He said chuckling a little.

"Here's your food." Nancy said setting our food down in front of us.

"Thanks." I said smiling.

We are our breakfast in silence sharing a laugh or two because he would have yoke dripping down his chin or I would have syrup dripping.

Once we were finished I brought out my wallet to help pay for the bill but before I could take the money out Nancy already left.

I looked up at Matty questionably.

"Did you really think I was going to let you pay?" He asked smirking.

"Well I was hoping you would let me." I said sending him a small smile.

"Nope when your with me, I pay for you." He told me getting up. I don't know what's happening but for some reason that made my heart flutter. No I can't like him. Liking someone means heartbreak sometime in the future.

"Thanks but you know I can pay for my own stuff." I told him getting up also and walking out the door with him next to me.
