I walk up to the porch of my house to see Luke sitting on the edge in front of the door. He looks at me and I give him a small smile.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"I'm sorry for overstepping." I say walking up the stairs.

"No, I.. i just had to leave. That was..-"

"You don't have to explain." I interrupt.

"Yeah I do. Uh.. I didn't have many regrets in my life except for running out on my parents. Especially my mom, so..thank you." He says looking into my eyes.

"You helped me get music back and feel more connected to my parents too. I wanted to do the same thing for you." I say.

"That was perfect." He says.

He looks down at our hands that are inches away. We get lost in the moment as they inch closer and closer together. I reach my hand through his and it goes right through. I gasp and turn around sighing.

"This is an interesting little relationship you and I have." He says smiling.

We smile in silence before I realize I forgot to tell him.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you. Flynn said that the video that my da made is trending on YouTube." I say. Luke looks at me confused.

"That's a good thing. That means people love our music. We'll definitely be getting calls from managers now." I say putting my hands in my pocket.

"There's something I have to tell you."

I look over and see that Luke has a guilty look on his face.

"Oh..ok." I say turning around to face him.

"We figures that we have unfinished business. That's why we came back as ghosts."

"Oh. What is it?"

"We have to play the show we never got to play."

"at the Orpheum..that makes sense." I say.

As the words left my mouth Luke is pulled back by a purple jolt. He falls back against the pilar. My eyes widen as I look at him.

"We don't have a lot of time." He says wincing.

"What was that? Are you ok?" I ask.

"We did something that we shouldn't have. That night we missed the dance, we met this ghost, and he put a curse on us. And if we don't do what he says, then these jolts will destroy us."

"Then you have to do what he says. What does he want?" I ask.

"He wants us to be in his house band for eternity. But if we can play the Orpheum soon, then we can avoid all of that and cross over." He says getting up.
