My alarm clock goes off and I drag myself out of bed.

I barely slept; every time I closed my eyes, I seen some part of this job going wrong. My plan is good, but no plan is perfect. There's still a lot that could go wrong. If it wasn't for this massive pay off I would have overruled the team on this one.

"Morning." Damien says as I walk by him.

I groan and keep walking towards the balcony. The cool morning breeze helps to perk me up, but I still feel exhausted.

I get about halfway through my smoke when I hear someone open the door.

I look back and it's Damien. Of course.

He hands me a cup of coffee, "Thought you could use this."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means that you look like you got an hour of sleep."

"Well for your information I feel fine." I sneer.

He stands there blankly for a few seconds.

"Can I help you with something?" I snap.

Well that was more bitchy than I intended. He sighs then turns around and walks back inside. I take a long sip of the coffee he brought me. I did need this.

The day drags by, but finally, it comes time to get ready. We've never had to worry about how we looked for a job before, so this is very new. The worst thing we could do for ourselves with this job is not blend in.

Courtney picked us out outfits last week. As she likes to remind us, she's the only one with a real "sense of style".

Raiden, Chance, and Damien have black tuxes and Courtney has a black dress with a plunging neckline.

Ali looks so beautiful in her dress, it's a pastel pink with a halter neck. I wish Jordan could have seen her like this.

My dress is bright red with spaghetti straps and a thigh high split. I argued with Courtney over it and tried to get her to get me a new one, but she wouldn't budge.

She said and I quote, "Your legs are the only decent feature you have".

I'm in my bathroom just finishing up my make up. I keep looking at the dress on the hanger. This is so not me. I hate dresses. I don't think I've ever worn a dress, or even a skirt for that matter.

I finish my makeup with some red lipstick and slip into the dress. I pull my long-curled hair out of the straps and throw it over my shoulder. Time to put on my game face. I strap on my heels, then put my knife into my leg strap on the leg that will be covered by my dress. I take a few deep breaths and then head out to the kitchen to join the rest of the team.

"Everybody ready?" I ask as everyone turns to look at me.

DAMIEN POV

I hear Jada's voice and turn around to look at her, my jaw immediately drops. I swear it hits the floor. I'm completely frozen in place with my mouth gaping open like an idiot.

Knowing her this is probably the first time she's ever worn a dress but she's wearing it like she models it for a living. She looks so effortlessly sexy that I can't focus on anything she's saying. I just stand there taking it all in, trying to fight the urge to throw her over my shoulder and take her right back to her bedroom.

Suddenly Raiden elbows me in the ribs, I let out a grunt and look over at him confused. He motions to Jada with his eyes.

"Damien? Are you listening?" She questions.

"Uh, yes."

That's a lie.

"So, what do you think?" She asks.

She raises her eyebrow. She knows I wasn't listening.

"Uh I think... yes?"

She gives me a strange look but continues to talk to the rest of the team. I try to pay attention, but I find myself drifting off again thinking of how fast I could rip that dress off. Hell, we wouldn't even need to take it off.

"Alright, this is it guys. Let's get going." She says grabbing a set of keys.

JADA POV

I can tell Damien hasn't paid attention to a thing I've been saying. I grab the van keys, toss them to Raiden, and walk towards the elevator.

Damien awkwardly walks into the elevator, purposely standing as far away from me as he can.

"Let me know once you have eyes on us." I say to Tyler and Kyler before the door closes.

"Good luck guys!" Kyler encourages.

We've got a computer and a few monitors set up in the planning room so they can keep an eye on the security footage. Hopefully if anything unexpected does happen they'll be able to warn us and maybe give us enough time avoid it.

The drive to the job is silent like usual. Damien is still avoiding eye contact with me. Chance and Raiden are sitting up front while Courtney stares at herself in the small mirror in the back of the van. Ali is sitting beside me, she looks nervous. I have a feeling that the nerves are more about her moving tomorrow and less about the job.

We park in a back lane behind the bank, we want our vehicle out of sight to the passing traffic but close enough for a quick getaway. Also no one would take us seriously if we pulled up to this event in our van.

"Ready?" I ask, looking around at the team.

The all nod and we jump out. We walk around to the sidewalk and then into the bank, there's security in front of the elevator and a few attendants taking coats. We walk up to the man with the clip board.

"Names?" He asks eyeing us up.

"Julia Ambrose." I say confidently giving him the fake ID Raiden got for me.

He gives the security guards a nod and they let me into the elevator. I hold it until the rest of the team gets through and then we head up to the banquet floor. When the doors open, we step out and look around the room.

I'm almost in shock at how packed it is. There must be almost two hundred people here. Including some of the most dangerous men in New York City. And we're about to rob them blind. This isn't nerve-wracking at all.

"Remember what we talked about, light mingling. Nothing personal, don't say anything you can't commit to. Drink to not look out of place, but don't overdo it. We start at ten." I whisper to the team before we disperse.

I place my arm on Damien's for him to lead me, it was more believable if we split up into couples. That way when we disappeared as couples it didn't seem as strange. I paired Courtney with Chance and Raiden with Ali. Courtney and Raiden are both extremely confident and mingle well with strangers so it made sense to pair them with Chance and Ali who are on the shy side with people they don't know.

Damien and I walk towards the bar and grab a couple drinks, I decide to stop by the bathroom first just to check my make up. If I'm going to keep this confidence up, I need to make sure I still look the part.

I walk into the bathroom and quickly check myself over in the mirror. I kind of like how I look, wearing more makeup and having my hair curled.

Suddenly I hear a familiar voice walk in. I turn around and catch a glimpse of the woman.

It's Marie Galenti.
