Esme hid me behind her, I wasn't able to see the black coat figures anymore. "Well what do we have here" a female voice said. I was trying to steal a peak but Esme had her hands holding me. "My dear friends, it has been a while since we last met" a voice said. Where these people apart of the mafia, I knew it, there is no way that even a doctor could afford this beautiful mansion. I started to get nervous, I felt my heart beat fast. Esme rubbed my arm to calm me down, which worked. "Hello Aro, we weren't expecting the Volturi so soon" I heard Carlisle say. "We were curious on how the young child was developing, but it seems you have company, may I meet her" the one name Aro said. Everyone exchanged glances at each other. Emmett came to my side and looped his arm around mine while Alice and Rosalie held Esme back.

I saw all six figures, they were pale with red eyes. I was so scared, I didn't want to meet them especially with the way they looked. We stood in front of two males, one was tall with a pained look on his face, while the other one had a smile plastered around his face. "You must be Elizabeth, my name is Aro and this is my brother Marcus and our guards Felix, Demetri, Alec and Jade. I looked towards their guards, they had a serious look on their face. "Hello everyone" I said trying to act calm. Aro came closer to me "may I" he said pointing to my hand. "I can tell a lot about a person by reading their palms" he said. I was hesitant but I guess he was one of those palm readers. I took out one hand and he cupped my hand while looking at it.

"Interesting I see nothing, I have had this happen once before" Aro said looking back at the Cullens. The one name Marcus put his hand on Aro shoulders, "interesting very interesting" Aro said backing up from me. I wanted to go home I didn't want to be apart of any mafia or cult activities. Edward than took over for Emmett "come on Lizzie let's go back inside and get you something to eat" he said. I didn't even protest I just nodded my head. When we finally got inside I ran to the bathroom and threw up. I felt someone pull my hair back and rub circles around my back. "It's okay Elizabeth, everything will be fine" Esme said whispering. She gave me a wet towel to clean myself up.

I sat down on the couch, it was night now. All I wanted was to go home and sleep in my warm bed. The only Cullens that stood with me were Edward and Esme. I couldn't speak to them, what were these people into, I knew it couldn't be good. "Elizabeth can we talk to you for a moment" Carlisle said, I didn't even notice him come in. I walked towards him and Esme, I followed them down the hall. We came into Carlisle personal office.

"We wanna be completely honest, you have ever right to know especially as a mate" Carlisle said looking at me. I was confused, did he mean mate as friend. "We have to tell you what we are but promise you will let us explain" Esme said. I shook my head yes, I wanted to know the truth maybe I would finally understand the emotions I had towards them.

"We are different from humans, well what we are trying to say is that we are Vampires, but we don't drink human blood we drink animal blood, the people you have met are the closest thing we have to royalty in our world, they keep laws in force" he looked at me to make sure I was listening and not going to make a run for it. I was completely shock, I haven't even been her for a whole day and had to found out there secret

Carlisle continue to talk about how each one of the changed and how Edward met Bella and their love story. I stood quiet trying to digest everything. He told me about the stand off they had with the Volturi because of Renesmee. It all seem so unreal, it sounded like something out of a supernatural book. In a way I felt bad for them, they were a loving family who stood together no matter what. But my question was why did I have to know any of this. Why were they so nice to me, they invited me over knowing I would question how strange they were.

"So why me, why do I have to know any of this, why did Renesmee and Alice want to hang out with me so bad, why isn't the Volturi coming after me?" I said in rush. What was so special about me that made me above their laws. Esme than spoke up "some vampires are lucky enough to have a mates, for example like Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett and me and Carlisle but in very rare cases 2 mated vampires get another mate, but this mate loves both equally, all the mates will be equal, the Volturi can't harm a 3rd mate because it's so rare she said.
