Chapter 10

Oberoi Mansion

Om entered in living room to find Anika and Bhavya at sofa. They were probably trying to knit something.
Anika looked up to find him at the entrance door. He looked devastated.

Anika: Om ?

And she stood up, Bhavya looked in the direction and stood too.
They looked at each other seeing his condition.

Sb thk hai na Om ?

He was in same dress in which he left, he had red eyes and hair messed up. He looked so broken.

Without answering them he went to his room, and AniVya decided not to ask him anything now.

He reached his room and stood at door seeing his world in front of him. His son and Wife were playing sitting on bed. Gauri's back was facing him and Rayan in front. She was bent, and was rubbing her nose with Rayan's making her son giggle in excitement.

A stream of tears flowed from his eyes.
He remembered the days when she was expecting, and even then he was a monster and nothing.

Flashback

She was moving to cupboard to get something. When he held her arm.

Om : kia chahiye ?!

Gauri : hum ly lainGy ..!

Om : Mai ny pucha kia chahiye

Gauri : kaha na.. ly lainGy.. nahi hai apki madad ki jaroorat

Om : zada nautanki krny ki zaroorat nahi hai

She laughed sarcastically.

Gauri : hum nautanki kr rhy hain ?!?
Arey ap nautanki kr rhy hain.. yahan pr koi nahi hai, koi nai dekh rha..
Is lye zada dikhava mat kijiye ki apko prvah hai humari

Om : yeh khushfehmi na tm apny dil o dimagh ce nikal do k tmhari prvah hai mjy..
Apny bachy k lye kr rha hoon smjhi ??

Gauri : yakinan !
Aur apny bachy ki utni hi fikar humy b hai.. is lye----

He held her arm and pulled her towards him and she collided in his chest. She struggled to move away but his grip was strong.

Om : ghar valo ko yeh dikhana chahti ho naa k mai kitna bura salook krta hoon ?? Ta k unki nazar mai mazloom ban jao

Gauri : humy koi sauq nai aisa krny ka..
Aur yeh sb krna hi hota naa to pehly din e kr lyty

Om left her with a jerk and anger.

Om : pata Ni kysy tmhari yeh manhoos shakal Zidngi bhar dekh sakoon Ga !

He looked away in disgust.

Pata nahi jaisi aurat mery bachy ki kysi parvarish krygi

Gauri : Yeh sb pehly sochna chaiye tha

She said and moved away.

Flashback ends

He came out of trance when he heard a chirpy voice .

Gauri : Om !
(Excited) Ap aa gaye ?

She said still sitting and turning towards him.
Om started moving towards the bed and she stood up smiling.
As soon as he reached her, he hugged her tightly. As tight as he could. He rested his head at her shoulder as tears flowed from his eyes. He tried not to let out a sob.
Gauri was shocked by this sudden act, but after a moment. She hugged him back hesitantly.
He was not leaving her, as if she would go away if he left.
Gauri felt her shoulder getting wet. Her eyes widen realizing he was crying.

Gauri (in most possible innocent and worried tone ) : Ap ro rahy hain ?!

As soon as she asked. Om opened his eyes and composed his self before separating.

Om (trying to smile) : n.. nahi.. nahi mai .. mai Q raonGa..
Mai to khush hoon k mai vapis agaya.. tmhary pas . Rayan k pas..!

He sat on bed and taking Rayan in his lap he kissed him several times.
Rayan giggled and made cute sounds.

Gauri : is ny sayad bht miss kiya apko

Om : Aur tum ny ??

Gauri : pata nahi .. humy ehsas e nai hua k ap nahi thy !

Om hardly smiled at her. And thought she had learned to live without him. He hated himself so much.

Next Night

Pool side

Om was in deep thoughts when Shivaay, Rudra Anika and Bhavya came together and sat with him, shivru on either sides. And AniVya sat with respective partners. Om looked at them but didn't say anything.
Shivay put his hand on om's shoulder.

Shivay: Kya baat hy om? Jbsy tu Bareilly sy aya hy thk nahi hai.!
Is everything okay?

Om (took a deep breath): Nothing is okay.

He was looking straight.

Rudra (worried) :  Kya hua hy O?

Om: Gauri...!

He said only her name and bursted out crying.
ShivIka and RuVya already knew something terrible had happened. And they were giving him some time.  They were seeing him broken,devastated and lost since the time he was back. Having enough, four of them decided to talk to him.

Gauri.. Gauri ki Chachi ce mila tha mai !

He narrated the whole thing , making Anika and Bhavya crying and sobbing.
And leaving ShivRu in tears.
Shock was not a suitable word to describe what they felt after knowing all this.

Shivay (in heavy voice): sara.... Sara qusoor mera hyyy.
(He slapped his head in frustration) mai...
Mai ny apni hi behn ko... Barey Bhaiyaa...Barey Bahiyaa Bulati thi mjy !
Apni hi bhean ko in javwaron k rehm o karam pr chor dya...
Tbhi.. tabhi shyd bhagwan ny behn di hi nhi mjhy ku k mein bhai khelane k layaq hi nhi

He said in broken tone.

Rudy (sadly smiling while wiping tears): Kehta tha na ap dono ce...
Meri chulbul bhabi kisi ka bura nhi soch skti...
(In anger and hateful tone) Lekn ap dono ki ego kesy satisfy hoti agr unko ghar sy dhakke dey kr na niklate

Anika (she sobbed) :  Meri behn...
Knsa khel khel rhi qismat usky sth. Kb mushkilat khatam honGi uski

She held her head in hands.

Bhavya (she wailed) : itna sb hogya Gauri bhabi k sath or hm sb...
Hum  Andy behre bany rahy..
Sb ce ziada qusoor e humara hai.. Unho ny humein or Rudy ko aik krny k lye kia kch kiya..aur.. aur hum
hm...
(Tears flowed from her eyes) hum itny la parwah kysy hogae k yeh hi nhi pta laga sky k Gauri bhabi k upar kya qayamat guzr gae..

Om : Qusoor sbsy ziada to mera hy.. Blky kehna to yeh chahye k Gauri k gunehgar hon.
(He then sighed)

Lekin Bht hogaya ab..!

(He wiped his tears)

Bht nuqsan pohnacha lia us bas**** ny Gauri ko.. aur yun baith kr bht pachta liye hum

(He clenched his fist in anger and disgust)

ab Kali ki ulti ginti shuru ...
Kali k burey anjam ka wqt agya hy
lekin Bhavya

(Turned to look at her) Isky lye tmhri madad ki zrorat hogi.

Bhavya: Boliye Om bhaiyya kysi madad chahye..Hum sy jo ho ska hm krengy.

Om: Kali Bareilly mein nhi hy bhavya. Mjhy bs yeh pta laga do is wqt :o kahan hy

Bhavya : thk hai bhaiya !
kali ka pura bio data apky pas hoga
