What does it mean I asked myself
When someone says
You arent enough
What do they mean
When they judge
As though you are an object
That would not budge
What do they mean
When they say
You arent enough
Are you a figment of their opinions?
What does it mean
To ultimately break free
Unrestricted and autonomous
From them all saying you arent enough
And finally seeing
Youre more than enough
Unrestricted and autonomous
True to yourself and the ones that you trust
The pleasure of truly breaking free
From the strings and threads all tangled
Twisted and intertwined
Each saying youre not enough
The tranquility and ultimate bliss
That comes when you notice
That the threads and strings are simply meaningless
When you duck and escape or float above it all
So what do they mean
When they say you arent enough
It doesnt matter does it?
Youre not a figment but a whole
Unrestricted and self-sufficient
