We pulled up at NaNa's filthy rich, golden gates. Her perfect yellow house was still and I knew that she must be home.

NaNa had long, dirty blonde hair like Carrie. Her eyes were the size of a dragon's and her teeth were perfectly straight. The only non-perfect thing about her was the lips that surrounds those perfect teeth. Plastic surgery.

I got out the car and grabbed my bags from the trunk as NaNa and Carrie greeted each other in their fancy rich people way. GAG!

NaNa's dragon slit eyes looked at me and she put on a fake smile. "Tatum! Honey! How has my old Tater Plum been?"she said sweetly.

TATER PLUM?! Come on old lady! Instead of speaking my thoughts out loud, I said, " Hello. I am doing just fine." I walk by her without giving her a second glance. NaNa's house is a palace for her tendered old prunes, but it was beautiful.

The walls were glimmering with flowers that I didn't know the names of and the furniture was even more breathtaking. I tried hard to pretend that it didn't faze me, but it just looked too amazing.

NaNa grabbed my arm and led me in the direction of my room and as we got closer to the door, I yanked my arm away.

"Thank you, Kate. I think I can find my room from here." I said as I walked towards the room.

"Don't forget why you are here in the first place, Tatum." NaNa said coldly, making my hairs stand on end.

I ran into my room and slung my bags on my bed. Why did she have to leave? My best friend. The only one that kept me on my toes. Now I'm falling from.... from the highest point.
