I smiled looking down at my soul mark. It was a silver analog clock frozen at 10:40. And it you look closely around the rim of the clock it says. 'All the time in the world.' Thats kinda cheesy, but it's cute too.
Because of the mark I always got anxious around 10:40 AM. Which was 20 minutes after my college broke for lunch. I honestly had no idea who it would be. But, I did know where it would be, Happier Tea House. I always went there for lunch.
"(Y/N)! Your usual I'm guessing?" I smiled at the girl that ran the shop who just so happened to be my best friend, nodding my head and handing her the money that my usual added up to.
"Of course, thanks Dollie." She smiled and went to the back to get my order started, meanwhile I went and sat down at my normal table, it was bussier than it normally was though. I chalked it up to word finally getting around about how good dollie is at what she does. I sighed and looked out the window at all the people walking down the sidewalk, letting my mind wander to what I'd do after college.
(Obviously I'm gonna work here once I graduate, thank God for Dollie, I'll probably make music on the side and hope I get recognized. And if I don't the tea house is still a nice place.)
"Exuse me?"
"Pardon?" I looked over beside me to see a woman at least a year older than me with green hair partly tied into a bun
"Sorry, but can I sit here, everywhere else is full." I nodded at her and she sat across from me. I looked at my actual watch and saw it was 10:30.
"Only 10 minutes..." I muttered, thankfully the woman didn't hear me.
The woman and I talked throughout those ten minutes, and I learnt her name was Setsuna. But, once it hit 10:40 everything but the two of us grayed out and stopped moving.
"Well, that answers that question." Setsuna laughed, rolling her sleeve up to show the same silver clock that I had on my wrist. "Come on soulmate, let's go have some fun. After all, we've got all the time in the world."
