That night you went home to your boyfriend, Sam. he was perfectly or so you thought.. You walked in the door kicked off your shoes and he was on the couch watching tv per usual.
"Hey i won". You couldn't help but be happy. You finally got justice after years of getting everything perfect.
"Of course you did.. You get everything". He said it in a strange voice it was annoyance but he was trying to act happy for you.
"Uh okay.. um oh also next monday i'm not gonna to be a detective anymore".
"What your quitting"? He genuinely sounds concerned.
"What? Oh no i'm going to be a federal agent". You could hardly get the words out you were so excited.
"WHAT"?! He screamed like it wasn't a good thing.
"Are you happy for me"? It was said little shaky.
"Yea sure". back to the annoyed voice.
"Um okay well i better be getting to bed i have still have work tomorrow goodnight i love you".
"Night love you". Rude..
Hm weird anyway you headed to the shower and then did your nightly regimen put on some silk pajamas and got into bed, You never went to sleep though, All you could lay up and think about what why sam said those things like that.. He was coming to bed so you rolled on your side and forced yourself to sleep.
the next morning

You woke up to the sunlight beaming in your eyes through the crack of the curtain.
"Y/n Close the blinds". it was in a loud voice stern voice, except it wasn't attractive, it was quite scary.
You got up and closed the blinds having about 45 extra minutes then you normally do so you decided instead of eating a fast food breakfast sandwich and coffee you'd make breakfast and coffee.. Well you were still going to pick up coffee on the way to work.
You were in the middle of making an egg sandwich when you got a call from your boss.
"Hey Detective Y/l/n you have the day off and that your transfer went through faster the anticipated so you'll be working in the FBI's headquarters from now on."
"Wow really thank you so much Sir."
"Don't thank me, It's horrible to see you go but you'll be helping out more people there. Goodbye Y/n."
"Goodbye Sir."
So i guess i'll be there sooner then i expected i guess i'll be buying more clothes then. Well that's fine
"Oh hey good morning"!
"morning".
"So i'll be going shopping for clothes for the FBI i got the call and i start tomorrow".
"What? You? The FBI? Okay sure. If you wanted to go shopping you could've said that.".
"What did you say".
"Nothing go buy clothes and shoes".
"Uh okay i mean i haven't even ate yet",
You ate but was your boyfriend was just kinda off. He never acted like this. You got dressed in a cropped shirt with ripped jeans.
"What are you wearing!?"
"Clothes?"
"Fine go looking like that."
"Whatever bye"
Once you got to the mall you went into lots of stores choosing lots of things you also got some shoes and then you saw it.. the stores with bras and underwear, you never really treated yourself to stuff like this because it's not like your getting anything. So you pick out a couple by a couple i mean at least 10, You bought a couple laced bras and underwear in all types, a couple push up bras, some lace lingerie really anything you wanted you also bought some cute pajamas, Some jewelry and new makeup.
Once you got home you put you clothes and shoes away and then plopped yourself on your bed "You know the saying shop til i drop i did that quite literally."
"Y/n! wheres dinner."
"I just got home give me a minute."
"I'm hungry now."
"Order takeout."
"No come cook."
"I just got home i want to shower so you can do it, Your legs and arms aren't broken."
What is up with him, His whole demeanor changed. if he doesn't want me in the FBI that's his problem whatever i'm getting in the shower i have the biggest day of my life tomorrow, Maybe we'll have a case somewhere so i don't have to come back home because he is just being so damn annoying. He's picking fights over my line of work, That's not necessary. If they do i have to pack a go bag.
Well goodnight world, I'm ready for tomorrow hopefully without Sam ruining my day.
