just a little summary because some people might get confused by this chapter. So the OC is from Earth and they've watched Hunter x Hunter, so they vividly know the exam and what happens afterwards. I didn't really explain it clearly in the last chapter. Btw I made it so when the OC got their power, their aura became more powerful :)

I seem to be in.. an elevator

hmm..

I scanned the small room. It was very bland and plain, though as I continuously searched around the room, came across a door which above it had the number '80' though it seemed to decrease by two every second.

As I patiently waited for the number to decrease to 0. I was lost in thought until recalled a recent memory,

Oh right...I have a power
Would this be a good time to test it?

You gazed down at your palms, whilst humming a Melodic tune. You pull out a simple but unique style of playing cards.

It had a color scheme of black and white, and on the back of the cards had a symbol of two horses vertically opposite each other then a picture of a sword grazing above it as the background showed various patterns.

You twirled the card with your hand as it entwined with your fingers, the holding the unique card up, you concentrated and let all your nen through your body extend into the card until you were left with the playing card covered by a faint light around it.

Oh...that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be..

Let's see what I can do.

As you viewed the card, you began to concentrate and imagine the card transforming into a unique styled dagger, and as a result you were took by surprised as you found a small dagger in your palm that was originally the unique styled playing card.

An ear-to-ear grin plastered all over your face as you realized the power that you concealed inside of you. A small sound of a ring, ringed through your ears as you pulled your thoughts together and stared at the door. You hid the card-like dagger in your jacket you found yourself walking into a...sewers??

It was suppose to be a large area, though the air in there was so thin that to your surprise it almost made you gasp for the air around you.

Third POV

While the other applicants awaited for the first phase to start. An intense, powerful aura filled the area. All the applicants whispered and gossiped to one another to find out who's causing such a strong and scary aura. As the man stepped out of the elevator.

Everyone Went silent as his anonymous presence entered the room. Everyone was nearly dumbfounded by the incredibly strong aura he pulled off as he really only looked like a causal boy. Rei wore a black, unbuttoned jacket, red tight singlet as it clearly showed the toned muscles in his abdomen and black leather pants. And black sneakers.

OC POV

I look around too see nearly everyone glaring at me, I couldn't tell if it was out of pure curiosity or fear. As I was about to walk in to the crowd I got interrupted by a small green...thing. I stared down at it as I saw a small glint of fear run through the small persons eyes.
