Okay, I'm not going to lie, going home after getting slapped by my boyfriend to face Susan, was not on my todo list.
Susan was boiling when I came in, "where were you! Cops have been chasing Shane Blossomer all day!" She yelled, I shrugged and headed up the stairs, Susan grabbed my wrist, I turned around "will you unhand me" I asked, annoyed, Susan squinted and let go, I threw my arms together and ran up the stairs.
I went to the safe and put in the code-1943, and took out about ten thousand dollars, and left the house again. Getting into my truck, I drove back to the station, and walked in the glass doors.
The lady looked me quizzically, "I'd like to bail Shane Jen- Blossomer out" I say, the lady rolls her eyes, "that's gonna cost a lot of money honey, I'm pretty sure mommy and daddy don't have the kind of money" she sneered, I pulled gone wad of cash out of my back pocket, "this should be enough" I say smugly,
The lady grumbles something that sounded like "duck this fish" she sighed, "follow me" she stood up and led me down a hallway,
She left me in a room with a glass wall and a window, on the other side of the room isn't was almost parallel to this side only instead of a normal wood door, there was a steel door, "don't try to break the glass it's plexiglass
The steel door slid open and Shane stumbled through, "Natty?" He questioned, I nodded, he shook his head, "no no no, Natalia you have to go" Shane said, I shook my head, "you can't just keep pushing me away. Shane all your efforts to keep me away are failing I don't give a fuck if I'm not safe, my mom wouldn't have cared and I sure as hell don't" I said
"Natalia, don't you understand, we can't be together, you're from a perfect family, and I'm just a fuck up" he said
Those words struck me like a knife to my chest, tearing out every piece of my soul and stomping over it in Doctor Martens. I pressed my hand against the glass and Shane repeated the action,
"I solemnly swear that no matter what I will stick by you, I will always stick by you, I'm not leaving Shane" I say,
Shane sighs, "the glass isn't plexiglass" he tells me, I get the memo and remove my shoe and chuck it at the wall, Shane climbs over and I kiss him, it wasn't a neat kiss, it was sloppy because with my uneven height because of my missing shoe, we weren't equally he same height,
We ran out the door and headed for my Chevy, it was a good day to be driving down back roads so we did that. Everything was normal and calm,
That was when the car hit.
