~a couple days after MIW tour ended~

Shane P.O.V.

"I'm not going!" I said. "Forget about ghost! Come on.! It's the warped opening party and Chris is coming back!" Katie pleaded. I sighed. She was right I need to forget about ghost. "Fine." I huffed. She jumped up and hugged me then she dragged me to her room. "I'm doing your hair and make up so sit down." Katie said. I sat down and she got to work. After about an hour an a half she was down with my hair and make up. She smiled and went through her closet and pulled out a black dress. She handed it to me and pushed me towards the bathroom. I went inside the bathroom and changed into the dress. I walked out and Katie was doing her make up. She handed me a pair of black heels and I slipped them on. I looked in the mirror and I sighed. The dress showed off way to much, but my make up was nice. I waited for Katie to get done which took forever. Once she was finished there was a knock at the door so I walked and answered it. Chris was standing there and he looked me up and down. "Wow.." He said. "Is something wrong? Katie picks this out and-" I started. "No, you look amazing.! To be honest I was checking you out. Haha anyways are you two ready?" He asked. I nodded and let him in. Katie came down stairs wearing a white dress and white heels. She looked way prettier than me. She hugged Chris and kissed him. I smiled then we left. We arrived at this building and we got out of the Chris' car and walked inside. There were at least 200 people there. I realized Katie and Chris had left me. I scanned the room for one of the motionless in white boys except for ghost, but I couldn't find any of them. Someone tapped me on my shoulder so I turned around to see Ashley Purdy. "Hey gorgeous. You lost?" He asked. I chuckled. "Uh no. My friends left me and well, here I am." I said. He smirked. "Well, if you didn't know my names Ashley Purdy and I want to know if you'd like a drink?" He questioned. I shrugged. "Sure." I said. He smiled and we walked to the drink table and we took about four shots of whiskey. I had loosened up by then. "Wanna dance?" Ashley asked. "Uh sure." I said. He pulled me to the dance floor and we danced fairly close to each other. He held my hips while I moved against him too the beat. After that song we went and downed about six more shots. I was a little drunk and Ashley was now sticking his tongue down some girls throat. I sighed and looked around and spotted balz so I stumbled over to him. He seen me and I almost fell when he caught me. "Wow. You look beautiful tonight." He said. "Why thank you. I'm glad someone thinks I'm beautiful." I slurred. He chuckled. "Hey balz. I'm gonna go home. I just caught Kylie with some guy-" ghost said walking up to us but stopped when he seen me. "Ok man. I'll probably take Shane home since she's plastered." Balz responded. "I'll take her if you want." He said. I scoffed. "I'm not going anywhere with you! This is the most fun I've had in a month. I'm going to go get another drink." I spat and walked towards the drinks. I downed 5 more shots and started to go back to where balz was when someone caught my wrist and pulled me out onto a patio. I noticed it was ghost. I shook him off and tried walking back inside when he stopped me. "What do you want?" I snapped. "To talk." He said. "Speak.! You have one minute." I said. "I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you ok? I shouldn't have got back with Kylie because I knew that she was going to cheat on me. And I already had my eye on another girl." He said. Another girl? He never wanted me anyways? I got so mad as those words played over and over again in my head. I looked at ghost and slapped him as hard as I could and stumbled back inside. Tears threatened to spill and my vision became blurry. I couldn't see and I bumped into someone. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you." I said. "It's ok. I'm fine. But are you ok? Your crying." A deep voice questioned. I wiped my eyes and seen Tj bell. "I uh...yes and no. I hate people." I said. "Well do you hate me?" He asked. I couldn't help but laugh at that. "No." I said. He smiled and hugged me. "Are you looking for anyone?" He asked. I nodded. "Balz" I said. He nodded in understanding and helped me find him. I found balz and hugged him. He hugged back immediately. "What's wrong babe?" He asked. Even though he had a girlfriend, balz always called me babe. "I wanna go home. Like now if we could." I said. "Uh I'll take you." Tj spoke. "I don't want to bother you." I said. He smiled. "You won't. Come on." He said and helped me outside. He helped me in his car then he got in and I gave him the directions to my house. He arrived and parked. I was more sober now so I didn't need help but he got out anyways. We walked up to my door and stopped. "Thank you." I said. "No problem. Just because it's 2012(the time this takes place) doesn't mean there isn't gentlemen. " he replied. I smiled. I unlocked my door and then I hugged him. "Is it possible for me to get your number so we could still talk?" He asked. I nodded and went inside and grabbed a marker and walked back out. I grabbed his hand and wrote '307-452-8901' and 'Sj' he smiled and he kissed me on the cheek and left. I walked back inside and went to my room and undressed. I stayed in my bra and underwear and laid down. I started to cry and soon cried myself to sleep very quickly.
