were only a few of the things lauren's been getting told on a daily basis ever since the world found out about her and jaeden. and those weren't even the worst of what's been said to her.
everything was getting to her, the hate, the death threats, people constantly dragging her down and calling her horrible things as if she wasn't human.
both sateen and lilia have told her that jaeden loved her. and she had no doubt about it. none at all. jaeden was wonderful. he made her feel loved.
and she loved him. god she loved him. she loved him more than words could describe. but there was a bit of a problem. lauren didn't love herself.
the way she's been torn down these past few months just because of who she was dating. they've nitpick on her insecurities, called her this and that, her friends told her not to listen but the noise was too loud not to be heard.
the blonde stood in the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror with only her shorts and sports bra on. she twisted and turned at every angle trying to figure out what was wrong with her
she paused, placed her hands on the counter, and took a closer look at herself.
she couldn't even recognize herself. she'd gotten so much thinner to the point that her ribs were starting to show. the bags under her eyes were heavy, and she just looked like entirely different person
"look at yourself, you're hideous"she mumbled before straightening up and twisting to the side
"you know there were other ways to get the figure you wanted, you just went with this way and now you have to go to a doctor and be burden to everyone you dumb bitch"she told herself
lauren for the past few weeks felt as if she were some sort of burden to jaeden, to john, to her friends, and the rest of her family.
she felt as if she was dragging everyone down, that she was turning jaeden against his supporters, that she was bringing her family and friends down with her. and quite frankly, she didn't want to be a burden anymore. especially to jaeden.
lauren called him, asking him to talk, and he said that he was on his way to her house anyway so she should just wait for him. the blonde took a deep breath as she quickly put her shirt on, wearing jaeden's would've felt wrong. she stepped out of the bathroom and sat on her bed with her arms crossed, waiting for her boyfriend to arrive.
she heard a knock on her door making her sigh before standing up and opening the door herself, and there jaeden stood with his hands in his pockets, a tiny grin painted on his lips as lauren opened the door a little wider for him to come in
