Julian's POV

I flopped onto my bed without changing, a sigh escaped my lips.
I liked Y/n, I sort of already knew that once I realised they'd become a regular, but now it was stubbornly cemented.
My mind drifted back to the park, how beautifully they blended into the scenery, the turning seasons, how the cold made their cheeks and nose turn pink. I hoped what I said to them back at the cenotaph didn't make this any less apparent. But there was a tiny voice in the back of my mind, unshifting.
My phone buzzed, it was Pasha.

"How was it???? <3"
"Lovely x"
"Planning on seeing each other again?"

I paused. I'd have loved to, but asking to see them again seemed like I was requesting something I didn't at all deserve, but the mere thought of them just being a customer turned my heart to lead.
