~(Y/N) POV~

The snow had stopped falling as we stepped outside of the Starbucks; now the sky was just a gloomy grey. But that didn't take away from the brilliance of my surroundings. A chilly breeze blew and Angelica grabbed my hand in hers as I went to stuff it in my coat pocket.

"Bring gloves next time, (Y/N)! Beanies are important, but not everyone can function with cold hands like Pegs." She motioned to the only other person not wearing gloves, who shot her a glare.

"I happen to be a child of the snow, Ange! I flourish in the cold; you should know this by now!" She scooped up a handful of the white powder and tossed it in the air. It fell on a very confused Alex.

"When did it start snowing aga- ooooh. Peggy!" He scowled running after her, and she sprinted away like her life depended on it, but was giggling all the while. Quickly Alex caught up with her. He grabbed her hand and pulled her into a snowbank with him. "If I must suffer, so will you!" He shouted as they fell. Peggy shrieked with joy and landed next to him.

"Suffer?! I love the snow!" She said, sitting up and throwing it in the air once more. Alexander looked disgruntled and held up his arm, signaling to John he wanted help getting up.

"Nu-uh. No way am I helping you with those cold gremlin hands. Get up yo'self." And with that, he continued walking; the amount of sass in his tone was overwhelming.

"I swear Alexander, if you roll your eyes any harder they'll end up in the back of your head." Eliza laughed. He just rolled his eye again and hoisted himself up, running to take his place once more next to John. Alex went to grab for John's hand, but he snatched it away.

"Gremlin hands. Cold gremlin hands." John was laughing intensely.

"Fine! I'll just go walk with," He thought for a moment, "Eliza?"

"Sorry dude, I'm walking with Peggy!" Eliza said, avoiding him at all costs.

"Herc?"

Hercules grabbed a fistful of Laffayete's coat and pulled him up next to him, "Laff, sorry bro." Lafayette chuckled and shook his head, still sipping his latte.

Alexander huffed. "Then I'll take a hostage!" My eyes went wide as he approached me with a malicious grin on his face.

"You better not, Alexander Hamilton. I barely know you, and I don't like people I barely know freaking me out!"  I slowly took a step backward, wrenching my hand free from Angelica's.

He continued advancing towards me.

"Oh, (Y/N), I didn't mean to be frightening! I just need you for like two seconds." The last bit of what he said was very fast as he took a very rushed few steps towards me. I shrieked and ran the other direction. He advanced quickly, grabbing me by the waist and pulling me into his chest.

"NooOO!"  I shrieked as he picked me up like a toddler. In a very swift movement, he swung me and was holding me bridal style. He pivoted on the spot and began walking with the rest of the group. "Alexander Hamilton you better put me down! Right this instant!"

"Sorry, sweetie, but I can't do that. You're my hostage. Can you say that for me? Hostage?" He was speaking to me like I was five. Just to appease him, I slowly said,

"Hostage. Are you happy now? Can you put me down?"

"Nope, you're still my hostage." I sighed.

"Well, can you at least tell me what the white is called in English?"

"Snow."

"Snow," I repeated, "Beautiful snow." I smiled at how well I strung those two words together. Maybe this won't be as hard as I thought! Alexander laughed along with the others and kept on walking back to the dorms I assume.
