MoonStone Awards 2020 [JUDGING]

Since judging phase has already begun in other genres, I'd like to say a few things that might have not been emphasized in the rules. This is for all the judges whether you're already judging or still waiting for your participant list. (Participants please also read everything that's italicized)

1. Make sure you know well about the genre you're judging. If it so happens that you don't then be open-minded about the books that you'll be reading. Don't judge too rashly.

2. You may comment in their books BUT it should only be about your reaction to a scene. Otherwise, save your words for your review. Be professional and limit your comments.

3. Any form of communication with your participants is NOT ALLOWED while the award is still going on. That includes replying to their comments or messages. Any complaints or concerns should always be forwarded to me. (Same goes for the participants)

4. Again, BRIBERY IS NOT ALLOWED. Inform me right away if a participant does this and vice versa.

5. DO NOT BE BIAS. Always be fair and objective with your scores. Don't let your personal interests top over your judgment.

6. Again, I DO NOT TOLERATE VULGAR LANGUAGES. Do not comment such things in this book or your participant's book. Once seen or reported, you may be blocked thus leading to your disqualification as a participant or a judge. Please make this awards peaceful.

7. DO NOT GIVE HARSH REVIEWS! There are a lot of ways to point out someone's mistake. Give constructive criticisms. You are there to help the participants improve not discourage.

For the Participants:

Once the awards is over, please do not come/attack your judges if you are not happy with the scores and reviews they have given you. We may have some inexperienced judges, but PLEASE RESPECT their opinions and decisions as well. Without them, this won't even be called an awards book. I appreciate what they have done and please also do. Don't take it to the heart. Be open to criticisms since you've entered into a contest. This is one of the ways of how you can improve as a writer.

Well, that's all! I'm handling this awards alone and I'm replying to all your concerns/complaints as soon as I can. PLEASE DON'T VIOLATE ANY OF THE RULES. Think of me handling all the disputes alone 😭😂 Thank you! And also, I do give considerations for violators. I'd give a deduction of points if not disqualification depending on how heavy is the violation.
