After Jaune's transcripts had gotten exposed, He was bullied by everyone at Beacon Academy and disowned by his father. After he runs away from Beacon, he gets transported to a world of fantasy and magic, where his life will change.
The past few weeks have not been going well for Jaune Arc. He had been in a seemingly endless torment for several weeks. How it went was that Jaune got into Beacon Academy with fake transcripts. After Cardin discovers his secret, he has been blackmailing Jaune. But one day in Forever Fall, Jaune saved Cardin from an Ursa but moments after the event Cardin told Professor Ozpin about Jaune's fake transcripts. After Jaune was called to his office, he told him that he knew about his transcripts and was allowed to stay, much to Glynda Goodwitch's reluctance. Cardin then told the entire student body about Jaune's fake transcripts, which resulted in them all tormenting, bullying, and harrassing Jaune.
To make things worse, his own friends joined in on tormenting him. Weiss was more bitter to Jaune and states that he never belonged at Beacon, Blake was apathetic, Yang always beat him up at every chance she had, and Ren said that he was a danger to everyone. Ruby, Pyrrha, and Nora stayed by his side for a while but eventually distanced themselves away from him. He was even forced to sleep on the roof.
It got even worse when Jaune was called to Ozpin's office. When he walked in, he noticed Professor had a grim expression on his face and Glynda gave a sad look at him.
"Mr. Arc, I called you here because I'm afraid I have some terrible news," Ozpin said.
"What is it?" Jaune asked.
"Your father has... disowned you. And he demands Corcea Mors back," Ozpin said.
Jaune shows no reaction, and pulls out Corcea Mors and sets it on Ozpin's desk as he looks down. Glynda walks over and hugs Jaune in comfort. She could help but feel sorry for Jaune. She may have not approved that he faked his way into Beacon but nobody should be disowned. Jaune shoves Glynda aside and storms off into the elevator as Glynda tries calling him.
A few minutes later, he takes a regular sword from the academy's armory and runs out into the Emerald Forest. He left his Scroll behind so nobody could track him. He ran through the woods with tears in his eyes trying to get away from everything that tormented him.
"If this is what being a Huntsmen is all about, then I don't think I want to be one anymore," he thought.
Jaune continues to run through the forest and soon after he finds himself in front of a pack of Grimm. He tries to fight them off but eventually was overpowered and his aura was now depleted. He lays on the ground and begins to fall unconscious. Just before a Beowolf could claw at, a blue mist shrouded Jaune when it cleared, he was gone.
In a research facility, there are several glass capsules, each containing a strange creature inside. Staring at one of the containers are three men.
The first is an old man with long white hair and a beard and mustache. He wears ornate red and black robes with gold trim, a gold belt, and a black hair ornament with a golden band and a red crest at the front.
