Mine to Reach: A story of Vengeance

THE DAY COMES

Mother and Aunt Childea's boding time has finished and Aunt Childea left for her home. Days passed and that day was coming near, I practiced and practiced controlling my powers. I had a nightmare before the day of the murder of the scene of my parents getting killed, and it looks like, today is the day. I wore clothes that can make me move around easier, unlike the other dresses my mother ordered for me. " It's almost 9:00 am," I sighed, I asked Rainier to escort me to the tea room where Mother and Father are about to go in. I opened the door ready to change today's fate, I entered the room with Mother and Father about to take their cup of tea. I sat down on the sofa across them and asked if I could join their time. In the middle of our conversation, I could see in the corner of my eye a shadow in the trees outside the window. This is it, I breathed and count to 3, " 1, 2-" I could hear the sound of an arrow approaching and then I jumped and ran in front of my parents. *Smack* the glass shattered and in that second I used the force from my telekinesis to stop the arrow.

I didn't have the time to look back at Mother and Father, then my thirst for vengeance burst out. I there the arrow away and grabbed the guy in the black robe out of the background, I then brought him inside from the shattered window. " Monster!" the guy shouted, I then tightened my grip and started to crush him to his bones. " AHHHH!" the man screamed, blood started to shatter around the room, " Who ordered you to do this?" I asked, I knew who the culprit was but I wanted to hear this man's confession in front of my parents. " Nobody!" he screamed, " So stubborn" I then tightened my grip to give him an intense amount of pain. " Its Childea!! SHE ORDERED ME TO KILL THE COUNT AND COUNTESS!" the man replied, he then suddenly fell unconscious as I threw him on the ground. I turned back to take a look at my parents, they were both stunned and were stiff because of fear. " I knew it, I look like a monster," I said to them, " H-honey, what just happened there?" Mother said while trying to reach out her hand to me shaking. " You heard him, that woman tried to kill you," I said.

Mother and Father then rushed to hug me, " Rene let's talk about this later okay? Mommy and Daddy will do something about this" Father said trying to reassure me. The door then suddenly burst, " MY LADY!" Rainier shouted. Rainier's face suddenly turned into a shocked expression as he saw blood all over and saw the man in the black robe. " Count! Countess are you alright?!" Ranier said as he tried to take out his sword, "Take Yerenica out to safety, there could still be more assassins" Father said, " NO!" I yelled. I then closed the doors with my powers, " I need to be part of this discussion" I said in a serious face. Things were settled out and the man regained consciousness, " Where am I?" the man said, " You're already caught" Rainier said as he held the rope tying the man. In front of the man was Mother, Father, and I sitting on the sofa. He then pointed his finger to me, " M-MONSTER!" he muttered out. 

Out of annoyance, I used the force on him, " Are you not going to shut your mouth or what?" I said. Mother and Father had a wore an appaled face as they have never seen this side of me as I have always worn an innocent aura. " Is it true? That the one who ordered you was my sister?" Mother asked with tears and disappointment in her eyes, I looked into the man's eyes trying to signal him to speak or I'll make the pain he is experiencing going to hurt if he didn't talk. " Y-yes Ma'am now let me go!" the man said, " I can't, the Imperial guards are about to arrive to arrest you and your owner you unfaithful dog" I replied. Just as I said those words, the guards were ready to take him to prison and have a hearing on his sentence, now all we need is to catch that woman! It was already time to sleep, I decided to sleep together with my parents. " Rene let's talk," Father said, I then followed Mother and Father to the couch. " When did you start using mana?" Father asked, " I was born with it Father but never told you," I replied. Both of them were stunned on how long I have kept this secret.

" I did it for the both of you" I said, " What does it have to do with us?" Mother said. " I knew that something was coming today and have been preparing it since the day I was born," I replied. Father and Mother placed their hand on mine, we three shared a hug and I wished that I could stop time to enjoy this moment. " So, Mother and Father, I want to take an examination in the Mage's Tower" I said, " The Mage's Tower? Isn't that place where you train for the Empire's Mage army" Mother said, " Yes, I could use my powers for the better. And I can't wait for that woman's disposal" I said. " That Woman? Childea" Both of them replied.
