EUDORA'S RING

" To the Mage's Tower!" Father yelled, " Please, faster!" Mom cried, we were in the carriage on our way to the mage's Tower with Arthur. "It's my fault, I let her be" Father cried, " Dear, do not blame yourself," Mom said. We then arrived at the Tower, Father carried me all the way to the inside of the Tower. " Why is it so noisy in here?" A guy with the most glossy dark blue hair like the galaxy, " Heinrald, we meet again" Arthur said, " Your majesty" Heinrald bowed. He looked at me then walked towards me, " This is not right" Heinrald said. " Her mana is just too much," Father said, Heinrald then placed his hand on my forehead, " Her heart is freezing cold," Heinrals said. " Please! I beg you, please do something that would save my daughter. " T-there is a way. But we would need to use the Eudora's ring to do so." Heinrald said. " Anything! Just get her well!" Arthur said, " But Your Majesty, the Eudora's ring is such a valuable and historic artifact! It would be too dangerous, it might suck out her soul if we do so if she wears it!" Heinrald said. Mother sobbed, " C-can't we at least try?" Father asked, Heinrald looked at Arthur worriedly for the possibilities.

" Uvo, go get it," Heinrald said, Uvo who was an apprentice in the Tower. " Here it is Sir" Uvo said. Eudora's ring is an ancient artifact that was gifted by the gods to a young knight for his good deeds. It was a glorious thing, but was also dangerous and could be life-taking without proper use. It says that the gods gave the young knight a message that the only person who could wear this ring as someone who is his beloved child, his child might be in generations later. But you could find his blessed child when her eyes turn gold like the treasures when she wears it. " This is our only shot, the myth may be a hoax or not but this is the only thing to save this girl. This is so weird, a little girl like her possessing such great magic, this is dangerous" Heinrald thought to himself. Heinrald then sealed the ring to my thumb since it was too big for me, then, golden lights started to glow on the ring, I then regained consciousness and opened my eyes. " Honey, her eyes" Mother said, the whole Tower was amused by this sight. " Are you god's child?" Heinrald said, " What do you mean? What happened?" I asked, " Y-your eyes, are gold," Arthur said. Uvo handed me a mirror and I was shocked by what I saw of my reflection.

" You're god's blessed child, just what the myth says," Heinrald said, " W-WHAT?!" I blurted. I then looked at my hand and saw a ring on it, " What is this ring on my thumb?" I said. " Wear it, a while ago you fainted. It seems like you had too much mana and your body couldn't hold it" Arthur said. " Is this?" I asked, " Yes, its Eudora's ring, little lady. It seems like you are god's blessed child who we have been searching for centuries" Heinrald said. It all got to me, ah yes, my reincarnation, but what does it have to do with this ring? " Count, Countess, I would like to take your daughter in for training as a magician here" Heinrald said, " Rene" Father exclaimed, " Don't worry, it would be beneficial since we are able to monitor your daughter's mana," Heinrald said. Then my eyes returned back to the blue color I had back to its normal state, " I-its gone" I said, " I put a spell on the ring to not show your golden eyes on neutral times but only glows when magic is used. It is dangerous to let it outside since there are poachers out there who takes people's eyeballs for the auction just like what happened to the people in Ziran" Heinrald said.

" Is that so" I said, " Does she have to wear that ring always? That's the reason why her eyes are turning gold" Arthur said, "It's not necessarily for her to wear it always, but we never know if things like this would happen again" Heinrald replied. " Will my training here in the Tower help my man flow?" I asked, " Y-yes it will so that you no longer have to wear the ring" Heinrald replied. " Thank you but may know who you are?" I asked, " Ah, sorry for my late introduction. I am Heinrald Von Peer. I am the head magician here in this headquarters" Heinrald said. " The head magician? Nice to meet you, I am Yerenica Felez Roshte" I replied. " You can drop the formalities, I would like to invite you to the Tower by next week to discuss about bringing you here in the Tower. You should be grateful, I don't do this very often." Heinrald said. " Will do" I replied, " Pfft, there's Heinrald trying to act all nice but still has his brazen-natured self" Arthur thought to himself.
