The news was spread all around the empire about the supposed assassination of the Roshte family. We twisted what happened because my parents don't want the information of me possessing magic in public because it could cause raucous with the other nobles. This had reached the Emperor and decided to visit us, but before all this had spread. Father was able to put Childea in an isolation room in the Prison Tower. " His Majesty the Emperor and the Prince has arrived Ma'am and Sir" Elfred, the butler announced. The three of us then greeted the Emperor and the Prince and settled down. " Is there anything I could do?" the Emperor said, he then looked at me and continued, " It seems like there has been a series of unfortunate events". "Mother, Father we should tell him something," I said to my parents, " Are you sure?" Mother asked, " I know what's best for me" I replied. " I would want to confess something to you your Highness. I hid something for the past 8 years in the Empire even my parents not knowing." I said, " And what is that?" he replied. " I have been in possession of magic, but believe me I never used it for malicious purposes," I said.

" Magic? That's impossible, only bloodline of the Emperor can possess such power" he said. " You can ask the Crown Prince if you need proof Your Majesty" I replied. " Is this true?" the Emperor asked Arthur, " Yes Father, I once came here to investigate the strange flow of mana I sensed here" Arthur replied. " I was born with it your Majesty," I said, " I would also like to join as an apprentice in the Mage's Tower," I said. " Only people in the Mage's Tower are capable of using magic under the blessing of Mana of the Emperor," the Emperor said. " I would like to have my magic at use," I said, the Emperor doesn't know what will happen in the future. In my past life, there had been a war with the Lavigne Empire and the Aquastine Empire. " And we would like to keep the real truth of the attempt of murder away from the public from what really happened" Father paused, " We can't just tell the nation that our daughter used magic against that murderer" Mother continued. " Regardless of the Little Miss' actions, she is still in the illegal use of magic," the Emperor said. " But Father, we cannot just do this to them. Yerenica was born with it" Arthur said

I sighed, " The real reason I never told my parents was that I knew that this would happen," I said. All of them were surprised by what I said, " I possessed magic because I had something to do in this life and I want to use it for the better by joining the Empire's magicians a Mage's Tower" I continued. " You had your fair share of reasons, so I don't think I could decline against that," the Emperor said. Then we all began to discuss my entry and everything that has to be prepared for Childea and that man's sentence trial. I excused myself out of the room then Arthur followed along. " Why are you following me?" I said, " Can you perceive the future?" Arthur said, " N-no I can't" I replied. " Then what about providing information to the Duke about the Baron then? And the attempt of murder of your parents?!?" Arthur said. " Your Highness, I am in no position of answering your allegations. And furthermore, there is always going to be a time where people have to tell their secrets." I replied. " She's calling me Your Highness now?" Arthur thought to himself, " Didn't I tell you to just call me Arthur?" Arthur said, I paused, why should I call him Arthur? He is the Crown Prince heir apparent to the throne while I'm just a Count's daughter.

" I have my manners and I shall call you by your title, Your Highness. But you can just call me Yerenica" I replied. " Okay, Rene" Arthur replied, " Hey! It's only my Father that calls me by that name. And besides, we are not that close to call each other already by such names" I said. " Aren't we friends?" Arthur said wearing a sad expression. " Uh yes we are friends but we really aren't that close like how close I am to Camille, the Marquess' daughter" I replied. " So, do I have to act like the Marquess' daughter to be entitled close to you?" Arthur said. How bold is this child, um yes I call him child since I have been practically reborn into my childhood state. " Hmph, let's see" I replied.
