My heart was still in a long dark tunnel of despair, ice sweeping through it sending short shivers through my back. Now the fancy house, the lovely car and beautiful setting was just a haze in the background.

"O-o-o," I started to stutter but I was cut off by a bear hug.

"I'm so sorry," He said still crushing me "Look, I'll explain everything indoors."

Tears started to roll down my cheeks as he let go of me. I stood in a private clearing, in the middle of no-where, outside a house I figured I would be going into soon, happy? I smiled to myself as I followed him to the boot. He was unloading two small black suitcases as I approached.

"So, uh." I said running a hand through my hair. "Where are we?"

"I'll tell you inside,"

"No but..."

"Inside," He said, he always had a knack for stopping me from flipping out.

The boot shut and I followed him indoors, nervously.

He opened the wooden door and stepped inside. I followed slowly. Inside it was light and airy. Above was a double height ceiling with a skylight running the entire length of the ceiling. It was a basic corridoor with two doors either side of the front door, and a staircase running up the right hand side. The steps werent connected, and looked like they were floating.

"Wow." I muttered.

He grinned.

"So this is the snug." He had opened the door to the left and guestured for me to look.

Inside was a small but really cosy room. A brown leather couch was to the right of the entrance and had furry cusions. Opposite was a large white screen, which I guessed was a projecter screen, spanned an entire wall. It had various canvas pictures and the blinds were low.

"Movie room!" I jumped on the spot, for some reason I had the feeling that I may be staying here a lot longer than a day, but it was the strangest feeling of all, the feeling that I wanted to stay here, for a long time. It was almost like the house was a mind-controller.

"Of course." He said, his face lit up when I started jumping on the spot. It made me blush, majorly!

He wandered out of the room and across the hallway to the door on the other side.

"This is the study," He chuckled. "I know its a little grandad-ish but you know, I-I-mean..."

"Dont worry, I love it."

His face seemed to loose its panicked look.

The room was old style, a large oak desk was in the middle of the wall to the left. Two large shelving units all in oak lined the wall next to it. A door was directly opposite the doorway I was standing in.

"Whats through there" I asked. The door seemed to attract my attension.

Ollie wandered over to the doorway. "Its the library."

The door opened and my jaw dropped. Every wall had a bookcase. The ceiling was higher than the rest but not quite double height. Every bookcase shelve was buldging with books. The room was huge and small windows with window seats where surrounded by the bookcase walls on the opposite and wall to the right. In the middle was a large platform suspended by classic pirate ropes. A black iron spiral staircase was in the middle. Beadbags where all around the staircase. All around the suspended platform hung cocoon seats of all shapes and sizes, hanging planks with books on hung around the room.

"Oh, My, God!" My jaw was hitting the floor. "This is so you." I said shoving his arm, okay that was weird.

"Thanks," He said.
