The sound of hysterical laughter was rudely assaulting George's ears. He could only roll his eyes and lift his headphones up to mitigate some of the sound damage.
"We get it, Sapnap. It's really not that funny."
Sapnap only took that as a cue to laugh harder. "This is fucking hilarious! How the fuck did you get yourselves in that situation? That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Honestly, when you texted it to me a few days ago I really didn't believe it, but you guys really weren't joking, were you?"
"Can we just leave the call? Or ban Sapnap from the discord?" George muttered.
"No George," Dream sighed.
"Are you guys gonna have to make out in front of Dreams family?" Sapnap snorted, "George, will you stand on a crafting table for Dream?"
"Anddd look at that, my mouse is magically hovering over the leave call button. Wow." George said.
"No! Wait, don't leave, I'm just jokinggg," Sapnap pleaded, "Please, I need more details."
It had been almost a week since George had first arrived in America. Admittedly, it had been awkward at times, but over the course of the past few days, he really began to settle into life with Dream.
Since the first day, George had only made himself throw up...3 separate times total? George wasn't completely sure. But it's fine. I'm fine. It's really not that bad. And I've hidden it well. I'll eventually stop and get help, but for now, it's okay, right? Right.
Yesterday they had finished building his PC and streaming set up, and today was the day of Dream's aunt's wedding.
Yeah. The wedding.
George wasn't particularly nervous about it. But there was still a nauseating, uneasy feeling lingering in his stomach, that he couldn't shake. Or maybe that's just my fucked up stomach from all the forced vomiting. Who knows?
"There's nothing else to say," Dream rolled his eyes, "Look, the most we're gonna have to do is handholding or hugging. It's really not that big of a deal."
"Aww Gogy, did you hear that? You two are gonna hold hands." Sapnap mocked.
"Shut up, Sapnap. You're so stupid." George retorted, "we just don't have any other choice."
"Why can't you guys just tell Dream's family that yall aren't actually in love with each other? Then you wouldn't have to pretend." Sapnap asked all matter-of-factly.
"Wow Sapnap, genius idea! I can't believe we never thought of that!" George spoke in a mocking, sarcastic voice, "Yeah, let's just tell all of Dream's family about how we're committing marriage fraud! I'm sure they'll all love the fact that Dream and I are breaking the law. Thanks, Sapnap!"
"Oh." Sapnap huffed, "Well, when you put it like that..."
Dream chuckled, "Sapnap's brain just permanently works at negative 100 IQ."
Sapnap took a sharp breath, likely about to respond, but then a loud ding interrupted him. It was the familiar Discord sound of another person joining the voice channel.
"Hiiiii!" An excited voice greeted.
"Oh, hey Bad." George responded, "Why'd you join the channel?"
"I just wanted to say congratulations to you and Dream!" Badboyhalo cheered.
"For what?" Dream questioned.
"For getting married!" Bad stated, "I always knew you two muffins were in love."
