Chapter 3

(Y/n) POV

Leon was helping me to get up from the bed that was in the room, before I could say anything else, we both heard our stuff going off, Leon picked up his radio, so I just stood next to Leon to hear the conversation, "Leon, (y/n). It's been 6 hours since our last transmission. I was starting to get worried." Hunnigan said to us.  Leon made a little joke to Hunnigan, "Don't you mean lonely? Anyway, we started to feel dizzy. Then we guess we must have lost consciousness." Leon told Hunnigan, "Leon's telling the truth, Hunnigan." I told to Hunnigan, "Lost Consciousness? Maybe that has some connection to what the village chief was talking about...?" Hunnigan said to us, "Can't say. But we're alright now. We're gonna continue our mission." Leon said to Hunnigan before hang up the called, "you sure, you want to keep going (y/n)?" Leon asked me, "yeah, but if I am feeling a little tired then I take a small break." I told Leon, we started walking outside to see that is now nighttime, "wow, I guess we must've been out for a long time." I said to Leon, I heard Chuckle at this before he started talking to me, "yeah, but don't worry, we can do this together like we have before." Leon told me, I smiled at this before I gave him a thumbs up and we started walking, 'I wish Ada was here, I know she did something bad, but I think she doesn't want to work with her job.' I said to my head, before me and Leon see a big door, so we open it to see one of the villagers started shaking and we noticed the head was gone but it was now replaced with a weird looking tentacle head that have sharp blades, "What the fuck? So this is a new virus that we now discovered?" I said to Leon, "yeah, but remember that we have to work together." Leon said to me before we started shooting at it but we had to back up because this blades could hurt us or killed us.

Leon was able to get a shot at the villager's head that had that those blade tentacles, while I just had the normal villager luckily it didn't do the same thing as the other one, we were walking towards the wooden stairs, we have to make a jump over to get over to the other side, luckily there was something we can jump over there, so we both started jumping to get across. Leon was able to get across and I was right behind him and we started running towards another way that we have to jumped over again so I decided to go first and I was able to make it quick, then it was Leon turn and he was able to make it over to me, we started to see a rope that was straight down and Leon decided to go first, "I go first, I let you know when I make it to ground." Leon said to me before he started to climb down on the rope, when Leon made it to the ground he yelled at me to come down now, so I started to climb down as well and once I made it down to Leon, we were smiling at each other that we started walking for a second til Leon almost got hit by a ax, we looked up to see one of the villagers had thrown a ax at him before I decided to shoot at the villager head and he was dead quick.

Time skip still (y/n) POV

Leon was taking me to a cave and we were taking a break from running and fighting these people, so we started walking in the cave, "Hey Leon, if Ada is somehow alive, what reaction would it be?" I asked Leon. Leon looked at me before he started talking to me, "Well, I probably be mad at her? Remember those six years ago?" Leon asked me, "Leon, I know that she can be prickly but I just know that she save our life's before." I told Leon, Leon looked at me before he smiled at me and came close to me and he started to kiss my lips, I relaxed in this kiss before we pulled away from each other, we were at a blocked area that looks like it can be lifted up, so I grabbed the item that looks like the same shape as the two doors at the church, so I put the item away, then we noticed the stone that was supposed to be a wall was lifted up, we were about to go that way but Hunnigan was now calling us, we answer it to tell Hunnigan about a item that I grabbed, "We've obtained an object that resembles the cult group's insignia." Leon told Hunnigan, "Wonderful, Leon, (y/n). Head back to the church. Ashley's safety is our immediate priority." Hunnigan said to us before we ended the called. Leon grabbed my hand and he asked me if I was alright, "yeah? Just thinking about Ashley? I know that it is dumb but I just hope that she is okay?" I told Leon. Leon gave me a smile before he started talking to me, "I sure hope she is alright as well." Leon told me, I felt better from this and we started walking towards a door and we opened it to see another cave but this time we see a boat, Leon decided to get on first and he stick his hand out for me to grabbed his hand again, so I grabbed his hand and Leon help me to the boat.
