This Chapter Isn't Really All That Great But Still Comment and Vote..Would Love To Know What You All Think.

Jerome's POV

I heard a car pull up outside the house I looked out the window expecting to see Shanice but I didn't expect to see a Guy With her. She Told me her Friend Was Going To Give Her A ride Home. I Didn't know It was Going to be a MALE friend. She cancelled on me so she could get a ride home from him. ~Would she rather have him over me~ The thought alone made my heart sink. It's probably that guy who called the other day. But isn't he the manager? He's not supposed to be giving rides home to his employees. I went downstairs to greet her.

"Hey" She simply said "So no hug, no kiss? What's up with that?" She Chuckled. She held her arms out and I hugged her and gave her a little kiss on the lips. "I love you" I told her. ~If she only knew how much~ I waited for her to say it back but she was silent for a while and expressionless then gave me a faint smile but still no 'I love You too'. The silence was killing me so I asked her how her day was. "It was okay, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but it was fun. I enjoyed myself, met a lot of new people". "Oh, was it someone from work who gave you a lift home?" "Yeah...It..it was Lauren, she's a nice girl. Her shift finished when mine did and she offered to give me a ride home" "Oh" was all I could say. ~Why was she lying to me. I just saw that it was a guy who gave her a lift home not a girl.~ "Well I'm gonna go and Lie down for a bit..It's been a long day" "Uh yeah..Okay" I forced a smile on my face to hide all the hurt I was truly feeling.

Shanice's POV

I don't know why I lied. The Lie just sort of came out. I didn't want him getting jealous so just I said Lauren dropped me off. Oh well, it was just one little white lie. It can't cause any harm right? I was so tired I just needed to rest so I went up to my room.

***1 hour Later***

My phone rang which caused me to wake up.

"Hello?" I didn't recognise the number on the caller ID

"Hey, It's Conor" Conor? why is he calling me?

"Oh hi, eerm not meaning to sound rude; but why are you calling my phone?"

"Well I got your number off of the application you filled out"

"Oh..are you stalking me now?" I said but made sure I dropped a hint of sarcasm in there so it didn't sound completely rude. Well it was a bit weird for him to be calling me though.

"No..I was just wondering if you're not doing anything if maybe you would want to go to the movies with me..If you want to?"

"Um is that normal for a boss to go to the Cinema with his employee?"

"It's just two friends going out to have a bit of fun nothing more than that"

"Umm well..When You put it like that..Why not?"

"Alright would you like me to pick you up at yours?"

"Uh no, pick me up by the park we went past earlier by my house"

"Okay"

"You remember the way right?"

"Yeah"

"Okay I'll just get ready and meet you there in about 45mins"

"Okay..see you in a bit."

"Bye"

I had a quick shower, straightened my hair. Now the question was; what was I going to wear? hmm... I know it wasn't a date or anything and we were just going as friends but I still wanted to look good. After 20mins of deciding I wore a simple black dress with black shoes and gold accesseries. I put some mascara on and a bit of gold glitter eye liner, a little bit of blusher and gold earrings that brought out my eyes. I smiled at the pretty girl in the mirror then picked a cardigan just in case it got a bit cold later.

"Jay I'm going out with a few friends" "okay..do you need money?" "nah I'm cool" I gave him a peck on the cheek then he held my face and kissed my forehead. "You look beautiful" "Thanks" he smiled "Have fun" I felt really bad for lying to him but it just sort of came out.I couldn't tell him I'm going to the cinema with my boss who is a guy, he'll see it the wrong way. The truth is I wasn't even sure I felt the same way he did. I thought I did but now I don't even know. The whole brother/sister love thing just isn't right. I went to the park and saw that Conor had already been waiting for me. He noticed me walking towards his car and came out. "You look great" "Thanks..you don't look bad yourself" he wore a blue ralph lauren shirt, blue jeans and White Ralph Lauren shoes. He opened the passenger seat for me and let me in. ~aww he's such a gentlemen~. It wasn't a long drive but the que at the cinema was long. "Hmm what should we watch?" he asked "I don't know but we better hurry up and decide because it's almost our turn to get the tickets." we had a choice between: 'Hereafter', 'Love & Other Drugs' and blue valentine. "You pick" he insisted "I can't decide.You Pick" I really didn't know what to pick and I didn't want to pick something that turned out to be a complete and utter waste of time because then it would be all my fault.."I asked you to first" "Fine"I sighed in defeat. "hmm..How about Hereafter" "okay..It doesn't start for another 20mins though but that would give us enough time to get the popcorn and drinks" I just smiled not knowing what to say "I thought you would have picked 'Love & Other Drugs'. I know how you girls love your chick-flicks." I chuckled. "Well I'm not like other girls" he smiled and showing off his amazingly white teeth then looked at me from head to toe then looked into my eyes. "You're more beautiful" he said. I blushed furiously wishing that I hadn't. He obviously noticed it. "You're too cute". My cheeks were blood red by this time. ~Shanice stop blushing you idiot, you're embarassing yourself~ "Next" The womanwho sold the tickets distracted my thoughts. "Uh Can we have to tickets to see Hereafter please." "That will be £13.00 Please" He Handed here the money in exchange for the tickets. "Thanks" he said before we headed to buy our snacks. "What would you like?" "Uh I'm not really hungry" "ugh don't tell me you're one of the girls that just survive off of a salad and an apple for the whole day" "No" I chuckled. "I just don't really feel like eating anything". "Well we're not moving from here until you let me buy you something so choose" he demanded "Fine" He smirked "I'll have a scoop of cookie dough ice cream".

We took our seat and waited for the movie to start. I began digging in to my delicious ice cream. "Bet you're glad I bought you something now?" The Ice cream was to die for "yup" I smiled not knowing I had Ice cream on my face. "uh you got a little.." "what?" he picked up a napkin and cleaned off the ice cream that was on the corner of my mouth. "Much better" "Thanks" he just sat there gazing in my eyes. he had such beautiful Ocean Blue Eyes I couldn't help but gaze back "You are so beautiful" I blushed yet again. ~How much times will this guy make me blush~ "You blush to easily" "Uh Thanks" note the sarcasm he chuckled. "But I love it when you blush, you look so cute" You could imagine how red my cheeks were now. he chuckled "There it is again..it's adorable". "I can't help it." "Must be the affect I have on you" "Whatever" "he laughed then showed me how amazing his smile was. "You have an amazing smile" His cheeks turned Rosey "Must be the affect I have on you" I joked. "It must be" the atmosphere turned serious and I saw him leaning in closer to me. ~Oh my gosh he's going to kiss me~ I pulled back. "too fast?" I nodded. ~don't get me wrong I wanted to kiss. Oh how I wanted to kiss him but I just couldn't do that to jerome. There I am saying that men are evil because they cheat on their girlfriends and here I am with another boy, Ugh I'm such a hyprocrite.I should be home with Jerome not with Conor who happens to be my boss~ "I'm sorry, temptation got the better of me. I find you pretty hard to recist." "um maybe this wasn't such a good Idea..maybe I should go" "No no don't go...let's start again. I promise I won't try to kiss you again or do anything you feel uncomfortable with...so what do you say?" he gave me his pleading eyes and I can tell you they were so beautiful, they were pretty hard to say no to. "okay" can you blame me, this guy is hot. "Thanks". Then I heard an all too familiar voice. I turned around to see if it was who I thought it was. ~Shit!~
