Sabado na naman! It's the day of the week na pinakahinihintay ng lahat! Walang alarm clock. Walang school bell. Yey! Meaning, Saturday is freedom!!!!! Students like us usually wake up late and laze off. But not for me, not for the 20 other people I know. Not for the Sabado group. Yeah medyo corny, sabi ni MC, Saturday Crew na lang daw para mukhang mas sosyal pero mas nakasanayan na naming tawaging sabado group ang samahan, barkadahan or whatever you call it.
"Good morning guys!!!!" with my usual excited voice. You know saturday really excites me.
"Ui Merry! late ka!!!! nahahawa ka na jan sa kaibigan mong apat ang mata at onse ang daliri!"
well, that was Joseph. He is usually nice pero talagang ganyang lang siya magsalita if its about my bestfriend Rachel. so bago pa ako makasagot para idefend ang aking bff...
"Hoy EXCUSE ME Joseph Bungo, good influence kaya ako kay Merry! At wag mong pinagdidiskitahan etong daliri ko baka gusto mo magmukhang bungo jan kagaya ng panagalan mo!!!"
They are Frienemies. They always fight but they're friends. So wala ng pumipigil sa kanila everytime they bicker kasi alam naman namin kung san mauuwi yan, maghahabulan and then kapag napagod na at narealizze nila bakit nga ba sila naghahabulan, its either floppy bird battle or piano tiles battle.
"Hey baby, seat here!"
I smiled when i saw MC seating in the grass with Julia, Bimbi and Jhajha and probably just enjoying the view and the sun rise.
As far as i know, si MC ang pasimuno ng lahat ng toh. Basta bigla nalang, here we are every saturday, nagjojogging, frisbee, or to the max na kwentuhan asaran at kainan. But I am not complaining. I am glad kasi kung anumang magic ang ginawa niya at napagsama sama niya kami, I am very happy. and here, she's not our teacher, she's one of us, shes our friend.
"Sorry mommy late ako! Good morning girls!"
"Si Rachel?" asked MC's kaloka-like, Julia a.k.a bff ni Mardelle.
"naku kayang kaya ninyong hulaan kung nasan siya."
Everyone looked at the same direction...
"No need, ayan oh nagmamarathon na naman sila ni joseph! ewan ko ba kung bakit di magkasundo yang dalawang yan!"
Well sanay na kami sa aso't pusang habulan ni Rachel at Joseph, but please don't get me wrong. Nothing is between them, RM still has Rachel's heart. So i just smiled to the sight of Rachel and Joseph.
"cute nila noh?..." Masaya ako kasi nakikita ko na masaya si Rachel, masaya siya sa kulitan nila ni Joseph.
"Parang kayo ni Mardelle..... cute."
The smile i have faded at seryoso kong tinitigan si MC kasi baka nagjojoke lang siya at di ko narinig ang punch line.
"mommy, wait. Me. Mardelle. no way."
And then yung ngiti ni MC na kinakatakutan ng lahat, yung ngiting may pinaplano... OMG please someone save me. Not me!!!!!!!
"Actually, I have thought of a name, para sa fans club niyo!"
OH NO! Tell me di niya to sinasabi.
"MnM couple. OMG I'm so genius its so perfect and cute!!!! di ba julia?"
Julia. She's not going to our school. But she lives in the neighborhood so practically all my friends knew her before they met me. They were childhood friends.
She just nodded at what MC have said and return her gaze on whatever Rachel and joseph is up to.
"oh see merry even the bestfriend approves, I will be the founder at nagvolunteer na si Leo para maging president tapos OMG anong tawag sa mga supporters??? i haven't thought of it pa!!! woooaaahhhhhhh!!!!!! Bakit di ko yun naisip!"
