Broppy oneshots (Cause' why not)

Poppy was walking to Misty Meadows to get some special Marshmallow Berries and saw they were up in the tree

Poppy: Ok, just need to get a handful of these and I should be ready. I just need one mor-

Then Poppy saw a nice perfect berry at the top, it was just what she needed, but Poppy didn't realise that the branch was not very steady it looked like it was about to break.

Poppy: Ok just need to reach...

But then suddenly she heard the branch snap and she started falling. She quickly tries to use her hair but barley wasn't fast enough and she hit the ground a little too hard.

Poppy: O-Ow that was a bad idea, I guess I'll leave with what I have left...

Poppy looked into the basket, she only had a handful in there. But she just decided to head back to her pod, she still just had enough to make cupcakes with the berries she had.

Poppy returned to her Pod and started to make the cupcakes, but she suddenly felt a sore pain shot up her ankle. She looked down and saw a bruise on her right angle, and it looked really bad.

Poppy: Oh frosting! It hurts! But I still have to finish these cupcakes, for DJ....

Poppy finished the Cupcakes and decorated them, she was ready to go but she needed to get to the party in time. She ran even though she was in pain and made it to the party.

DJ: Hey Poppy, these cupcakes look delicious!

Poppy: I'm glad you like them Happy birthday DJ!

DJ: Thx Poppy!

DJ saw her niece CJ waving her over and decided to talk to her

DJ: Ok, imma talk to you in a bit Poppy see ya!

Poppy: Ok See ya!

Poppy then looked over and saw Branch and wanted to talk to him, but she was scared of him overeating about her bruised so she just decided to try to hide her ankle as best she could.

Poppy: Hey Branch! How are you?

Branch: I'm good, I'm enjoying the party.

Poppy: I'm glad! So after DJ's Party wanna just have a movie night?

Branch: Sure, I'd love that.

Branch Noticed that Poppy's Right ankle was behind her other leg and was concerned.

Branch: Poppy? Are u ok?

Poppy: Of course never better! 😅

Poppy was worried that Branch noticed her bruise, so she decided to go somewhere else.

Poppy: Anyways got to go see ya!

Branch: Poppy wai-

But before he could finish his sentence, she was already gone.

Poppy was starting to get in more pain, but she wanted to push through the pain and she didn't realise it was getting worse.

After some dancing her ankle had enough, she quickly left and hid behind a tree. Branch saw her run past and so did DJ, so they followed her

Poppy looked at her ankle and saw it all swollen and purple and she was almost gonna cry from the pain.

Branch and DJ found her and saw the bruise on her ankle and quickly went over to her.

Branch: Poppy! Why do you have a bruise on your ankle?!

DJ: Troll my goodness! Are u okay?

Poppy didn't respond, instead she just started crying.

Poppy: Im so sorry!!! I just wanted to get the marshmallow berries for the cupcakes and I fell and- *sniff* and...

Branch: Hey, it's ok shhh I'm here, why didn't you tell us?

Poppy: I just didn't want to worry you.... and I just wanted to help with the party...

Branch: But sometimes it's ok to rest, you can't push yourself.

DJ: Yeah, and if you ever need help, you've got friends to help u get through anything.

Poppy: Thx guys *yawns*

Branch: Looks like someone is tired

Poppy: No I'm- *Yawns* fine

DJ: I was about to rap up the party anyways so just get some rest, ok?

Poppy: Ok DJ, See ya tomorrow

Branch carried her bridle side back to her pod and helped her with her bruise.

And Poppy knew she didn't have to hide anything from Branch again.
