Cinder and the girls waited backstage for their turn, hoping they would wow the judges. She jumped when she heard the buzzer, moving to the side to make way for the boys that were coming off stage. She adjusted her mask as the two men motioned for them to go on.

Ashlyn took her mask off, and everyone gasped. She had her face painted to look like a butterfly with blue wings and pink sparkles. Each girl had done so, every butterfly different from the other. All 12 girls had made a vow that they would paint there face for a good luck charm every day, and that at the end of the finals if they made it they would all take their masks off and show the world their faces. Until then their masks only came off behind closed doors, and even then their faces were painted.

Ashlyn stepped forward, and the girls lined up. Like their butterflies, their masks were all different, matching that of their personalities.

"Hello, we are the Pouncer-Ellas, named for our founder and choreographer Cinder Ella Charming. Our founder is local, we've been preforming together since we met a few years back, and we just want the world to take joy in what we do the way we do."

Simon motioned behind him for the boys to pay attention, thinking that this performance might be different than the others.

"What will you be preforming for us today?" The girls got into a group huddle, excluding the girl that had talked.

"Till the World Ends, its an American song." She joined the other girls, and when the music started the girls separated, revealing a girl with long blonde hair. She took her mask off to show a purple pink and blue butterfly painted face, and a wonderfully in tune voice. The girls danced around, doing ballet and jazz tricks. Again, they grouped up in twirls, all the girls in sinc and as they turned out another girl spun forward, taking her mask off to show a red butterfly and another beautiful voice.

The performance was wonderful, it revealed one last girl, the first one who spoke, an she had a nice voice too. It ended and he turned to the boys. Niall answered first.

"That was amazing. They were amazing. I loved it." The other boys said things along the same lines and Simon agreed. He turned back around just in time to give his opinion.

"Girls, I believe you are the next big thing. That is three yes'. Tell us, where will you be staying?" The girl from before stepped up again.

"My name is Sarah, and some of us have places in town, but others are in hotel rooms." Simon shook his head.

"From now on you will all be staying together in one of my favorite hotels. You need to rehearse and be together for success. The boys can show you, Im sure you will all fit in the limo."

The girls started screaming and jumping around at the mention of the singing group known as One Direction. The boys got up and said goodbye to him, walking towards the entrance to backstage.

"Cinder we did it!" Ashlyn jumped up and down in front of her.

"We would be nothing without you!!" Said Blair, the girl with the purple pink and blue butterfly.

"It was no big deal guys. I just brought you all to England." She was getting nervous, and she just wanted to go home. She saw One Direction walking towards them and freaked.

Niall would be there of course. The love of her life was only a few feet away. He would never love her. She wasn't even human. She was a pixie, bred to be a woman of nature, healing, and beauty. Everything she did was perfect. There was no way around it. She'd even tried burning food, it never worked. He would never love a girl that wasn't human and never made mistakes. The only mistake in her was that her father had been pure pixie, her mother a succubus. Every once in a while her succubus became active and she had to lock herself in her room. Music was her savior, and that was her connection to Niall. It was his voice that soothed her, calmed her, and held her when she was at her worst.

Harry walked towards them the fastest, and she slowly creeped to the back of the group, far enough to not be noticed, but close enough to see Niall.

"Hello girls. Uncle Simon wants us to take care of you, and take care of you we shall. First, we are taking you all to dinner." The girls looked around at each other, worried. Ashlyn spoke up.

"We can't eat in public. Only those of us exposed during our performance can keep their masks off, the rest of them must stay masked until the finals. Its our tradition. Every girl has a mask and a butterfly. Only those singing may take off their mask during a performance, and only those that have been unmasked in a performance may be unmasked in public." The boys nodded in understanding, and tried to think of a solution. Cinder couldn't stand it anymore. She stepped in front of everyone and spoke.

"Nando's has a private seated and curtained area in the back. I know the owner, we can have it all to ourselves and swear the waiter to secrecy." Niall smiled brightly at her, and she thanked the mask on her face.

"I love Nando's, lets go." She shied away, moving to the back of the group. Everyone started walking towards the back doors, where the limo was waiting. It was the biggest limo she'd ever seen. Everyone started climbing in, with Niall being the gentleman and holding the door open. Cinder was the last one in the limo, and as Niall squeezed in and shut the door, she realized her mistake in being the last one in line.

"Hi, I'm sorry it's such a tight squeeze." She was in heaven. He was so close to her. His cologne was spicy, like the woods, and she inhaled deeply.

"It's ok. I don't mind." After a few minutes driving, she began to feel dizzy. Being so close to nature made riding in cars hell. She tried to calm down, but was too far gone.

"Niall I don't feel so good. Would you trade me seats? Maybe fresh air will help." He smiled at her, making her heart flutter and making her blush.

"You're probably just tired, that was quite a wonderful and exhausting performance . Here, sleep on me until we get to the restaurant. I don't mind." She didn't want to take the offer, but she truly did need a bit of rest. She laid her head on his shoulder, and she swore she could hear him humming softly to her, but she fell asleep before she could investigate.
