Katsuki Bakugou woke up on his 15th birthday with a start

An interesting beginning tune was playing in his ears

The lyrics started

In this world some people are gifted with quirks, but everyone is gifted with a soulmate

The "Theme song" of their soulmate will be playing intheir ears

For the first day uncontrollably

After that they can control when they want to hear the song

Katsuki's lyrics started and they weren't in Japanese

"타닥 또 타오르는 저 불씨"

He desperately listened to this song over and over again to try to make sense of it

He looked up the English lyrics he could make out and narrowed the song down to UGH! By BTS

He found translations from Korean to his language and actually found the song to be Kinda sad and painful

"That's right Ugh ugh go Ugh ugh. Untill you become become him that's right go Uh ugh"

Who are they trying to be? Who are they trying to surpass

He got into Ua and noticed a student missing

The next day a girl walked into class

She had sharp eyes, she definitely wasn't Japanese

He felt small hope wash over him, was this scary girl his soulmate? She looks Korean to him

She had her sleeves rolled up and hair was messy and wavy yet shiny

Her tie was loose and her button down wasn't buttoned up all the way

She wore Red Converse

She was humming a tune, this tune happened to be Bakugous favorite song

In return he hummed the Korean song and she stood up

She grabbed his collar

"How did you know." She spoke firmly

Katsuki smirked

"So we are soulmates, the tune you were humming is my favorite song."

He pushed him off

"I don't need a soulmate so enjoy the alone time."

Katsuki felt his heart sink

Soulmates were supposed to love each other? Why didn't she love him

Later he stepped out from the lunch room after seeing her leave

He Followed the wavy haired girl

She found the bridge between buildings before stopping and staring out the window

"I'll prove to you Appa, Eomma, I'm better than Jumin."

"Who's Jumin?" Katsuki says catching the girls attention

Before she can run he grabs her wrists

"We are soulmates so you better f**king tell me what's wrong with you."

The girl whom he still didn't know the name of sighed before returning to the window

"Jumin is my older brother." Katsuki joined her at the window sill

"My name's Han Amber. My brother now owns C&R. Our business it's going well and he helped bring it into success, I used to be a quiet shy and reserved girl, up untill I learned I wasn't a door mat, it's always Jumin this Jumin that. I never got any attention, any love. Appa and Eomma thought of me as a failure, because I wasn't like Jumin, I couldn't play piano, so when I taught myself to play bass they thought it was too loud, not a sweet instrument, I was never thin enough for ballet, and I sure as h*ll can't ice skate"

She sighed again

"All this caused me to become rebellious, not like they cared"

It clicked for Katsuki

"That's right Ugh ugh go Ugh ugh. Untill you become become him that's right go Uh ugh"

He sang out the lyrics

"I want to be a hero to show my parents in not good for nothing."

"I admire that." Katsuki spoke

"You decided that you were done being put down so you f**king did something about it. That's hella brave"

"Thanks"

"And you do need your soulmate, you never walk alone"

"Wow funny reference."

"Thank you, I tried"

"So where are you staying?"

"A hotel, I'll find a apartment to rent or something."

"You can stay with me. The hag'll be excited"

Amber nodded

After school they visted the Hotel Amber was staying at and got her bag

They walked and then got onto a train

"OI HAG! IM BACK!"

"WHERE WERE YOU BRAT! I WAS WORRIED SICK!"

A blonde women who looks identical to Katsuki walks in the room

She notices Amber

"Oh hello sweetie!"

"Hag. She'll be staying here."

"Are you Katsuki's soulmate?" She asks totally ignoring Katsuki's sentence

Amber nodded meekly

"Aww you are welcome to stay here!" She says hugging Amber

Her eyes widen and then tear up as she hugs Mitsuki back

Amber enjoys a lively dinner

She takes a shower as Mitsuki and Marasu question Katsuki

"Why did she seem so new to everything? Has she never had a family?"

"Her parents didn't give one s**t about her, she's never experienced what an actual family feels like, all attention was on her older brother because apparently he was better, sounds like lies to me though."

Amber and Katsuki head to bed

"Thank you Katsuki."

"Any day."
